For anyone to think to News Media is a Fair & Balanced Medium especially during Campaign seasons, they are living in a dream world. I wish I knew stats but we hear Polls being taken everyday but none of these Polls are asking the right questions.

Let's say I was a supporter of Hillary Clinton working for an Opinion Statistic Agency. So I get an assignment to make Sample Calls throughout the Country to determine who is gaining more support in our Nation.

Well I'm not going to call people in South Carolina or Georgia or any other place that has a large Black population. I will most likely call areas where Blue Collar Workers are in abundance. I'm going to call areas that are feeling these hard times the most.
And to make sure I get the responses the way I want them to be, I'm going to construct the questions accordingly.

About two months ago, I actually got a call .. this is how it went.

Caller: "Hello I'm calling in behalf of National Polling Survey that is gathering information about the current candidates running for President. Would you be willing to answer a few questions regarding your take on the Candidates?

Me: Yes I would

Caller: Are you supporting the Republican Candidates or Democratic Candidates?

Me: Actually I'm supporting the Democrats in this election.

Caller: Between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, have you decided which you prefer?

Me: Yes, I'm fully supportive of ///////

Caller: Thank You very much for your time.

Me: Is that it?

Caller: Yes thank you and have a nice day.

- gone -

So I'm standing there wondering what if I had said I was supporting the other Candidate, I suppose I would have had a different response but I believe they were canvassing for supporters of the candidate I chose and since they didn't need to do anything else, that was it. OR maybe they were representing the other Candidate and my response got scraped.

We hear these Polls thrown at us all day long and yet none of us know anything about how they are conducted, what demographics they sample and how the data obtained is used. How do we know if an agency wants say, Obama to get the bump they trash all supporting comments for Clinton? Right now according to the National Poll, Obama is leading Clinton by almost 9% points and this is supposedly taken after the Rev. Wright controversy which would suggest that even though, Obama's association with a man who doesn't like White Americans and was according to Obama, his Spiritual Leader and other such relationships to him and his family and that together with Mrs. Obama saying she is for the first time proud to be an American, that the Media is pretty much shoving under the table, isn't making more of an impact on the American Public? I question that immensely.

So I'm convinced that in this Contest between Obama & Clinton, the Media is firmly behind Obama and is doing whatever they can to make headline of anything negative that will effect Clinton and squashing anything negative that will effect Obama.

Even the Speech Senator Obama gave which was put together by a team of writers, was presented as we all know Obama can do, he's very good at giving speeches, that was no surprise to me. But in it, he still claimed that he could not dis-associate himself from the Reverend. In other words, ok maybe this guy has said things that you white people don't like but all I'm going to do is put Rev. Wright in the background and let the Media push it away. So the Media made an elaborate hoopla over his delivery of the speech and paid little attention to the content of the speech which doesn't say anything other than, we all have to learn to live together, which is something people have been saying for centuries now.

I personally thought the speech was pointless and Obama was given a pass. Then the Media decided to throw out there that the Clinton's are responsible for keeping it in the News by Hillary Clinton making a comment in response to a question regarding her take on it. So for Hillary Clinton, she is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.

The Media knows this and they play America each & everyday in regards to this. Conclusion, Hillary Clinton has been fighting the Media more than fight Obama and We, the People, have allowed this to continue.

Blue Collar,

I had to tell you that I got a call today from a Pollster and it was exciting actually. He told me he didn't work for either candidate but somehow I didn't believe him because all of his questions seem to be about Senator Obama. He asked if the Super Delegates were to go against the will of the voters and nominate Senator Clinton, would I vote for her in the Fall? Before I answered his question, I asked him what was the name of the Polling company he worked for and he said he represented a nonpartisan affiliated organization, who's name he couldn't reveal. I thought that was suspicious but I then said, yes I would vote for her in the Fall. It was obvious to me that he was polling for Senator Obama because soon after, he began asking questions about how I felt about the Super Delegates and the role they could possibly play in deciding the nomination?
Then I said, you never asked me who I supported. How do you know if I'm a Democrat? He told me my name was on a list of Democrats. I knew then he was lying because I'm listed as an Independent, which means I can't vote in a Primary so I got really confused. I asked if he knew my name but he said our names are not provided when the computer makes calls. However, it is designed to only call Democrats in this Polling group. Anyway it was my first time Blue and it was interesting.
I believe a Vote for Hillary Clinton is a Vote for Women's Equality
