Hello Bionic - I just about finished each of these that you posted and some I believe can be altered to appear anyway you want them to appear depending on whether you support Hillary or Barack. One in particular are her voting records. I noticed most of the initial Bills that she wrote or sponsored weren't very impressive but then they began to get more involved and seemingly more conducive to her constituents. Remember Junior Senators I don't think get a lot done in their freshman year. They have to walk softly and find out who they will be able to relay on and who they need to spend more time convincing. It doesn't surprise me about the number of programs the Senator has been able to get to committee and approved. If Senator Clinton had been in Congress for several years and these are all she's been able to accomplish, then I would have a real problem with this. Did you happen to compare the accomplishments of Senator Obama ? As for Hillary's Lobbyist money intake, I've never been impressed by Candidates that use this as a tactic for division because many Lobbyist represent Agencies that do very good things for people. My father has a form of Cancer that was certain death less than 10 years ago but now because of Lobbyist applying pressure on Congress, the FDA was relaxed many regulations that have allowed more money into research and now it seems my father could live many more years with this Cancer like people live with herpes. When you speak of Gay and Lesbian support, I know a little about this because I happen to be Lesbian. We do not look towards the Clintons as the catalyst of acceptance. Because of social pressures, I still hide my feelings to my family although I think my sister knows but she's never said anything other than one day she mentioned my girlfriend was very nice looking and if she were into girls, she wouldn't mind being with someone that looked like her. But while she was saying that, she was giving me a look that I know all too well. She was trying to provoke a response but I just smiled and said nothing. The issues with Gay America I believe are bigger than any one President can tackle I think when people run for President, they tell us what they want to change or make happen but Presidents need the help of Congress to get anything done and those people are made up of men that represent areas of our Country that have strong feelings about many things. One of the forums here has a NAFTA heading and I'm interested in reading what people will have to say about it because in some parts of the Country, NAFTA has been very good and in others it has been very bad and so is the issues that relate to Gay and Lesbian issues. |

Greetings Bionic and Thanks for joining ... I think your Post certainly bring up many issues but I have to agree with our other new member in that if I were a Clinton Fan, I'd be able to Post many articles, Polls, Stats and Endorsements that illustrate either Clinton being the better of choices or that Obama isn't what people like to think he is. This is difficult for me because I wish to leave my allegiance unannounced but I will say I've found admirable qualities in both Candidates and what I truly find unfortunate is, because of this long nomination process on the Democratic side, where both Candidates seem to feel they should be the one that is the right person to lead us into the next decade, they are both tearing each other apart when it's the Republican they should be tearing apart at this time. Can you imagine what might happen if Hillary Clinton should actually do well during these next upcoming Primaries? Truth is, the momentum will then shift to Hillary Clinton, Delegates will begin to sway towards Clinton, the News Pundits will begin to cover her in a better light then they've done thus far but mostly it will indicate a continuation of this elongated Contest between two people who should be working together instead of against each other. Bionic, what is truly sad here is, I gather you might be an Obama Supporter and felt it necessary to Post info that shows Clinton in the worse light. This is the stuff Republicans are suppose to do but Democrats are doing it to each other. At the time of the Iowa Caucus, I wouldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams that whichever Republican Candidate got Nominated, had a chance in Hell to become competitive given the last 8 yrs of George Bush but due to the ongoing battle between these two people .. the Democrats are turning against each other. There are supporters of Clinton that will not vote for Obama and vice versa. This is a situation that I fear will not go away and actually get worse as each day passes and I feel the News Media Pundits have pretty much everything to do with it. They jumped on the Obama wagon early and decided they wanted Obama to win over Clinton. Well the problem there is, the Clinton fans decided to fight back and declare should Hillary lose, Obama will lose if they have anything to do with it. Welcome .. |
