This will be a running tally of how we feel this President is doing as Commander in Chief. In my personal opinion, I am one who was not won over by Barack Obama as our Savior's 2nd Coming. I see and saw him as merely a gifted Oritorical Deliverer, solely in terms of what we've been use to from previous Presidents. As a man able to speak on common ground without the benefit of Teleprompters, I actually feel he lacks in fluency. What is far more important in my opinion is, Mr. Obama is now playing Major Ball and not Shirts & Skins anymore. "Be Careful of what you wish for because you might get it" I've always wished I could find out who came up with those words of wisdom and Thank them personally. Of all the great Words of Wisdom that have been passed down the line, throughout our days, many are simply fun and many are interestingly factual. It's one thing to want to be President and a far greater awakening to be the President. I knew from the moment of the Iowa Caucus, that once again, we were on the path of selecting someone who knows how to win people over with words. Of all the Candidates on both sides, none could compete with Obama in terms of delivery. As I've said more times than I can recall, The World still loves The Late Great Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Barack Obama was able to grasp the quality of Dr. King's verbiage & rhetoric while combining it with an obvious non-Urban based understanding of the English Language. Then Senator Hillary Clinton, unfornately had too much of that high squeaking quality to her voice when trying to talk to large crowds. Within doubt, I knew then as I'm convinced now, that of all the Candidates on both sides, Senator Clinton, had the best foundation for her bid as President. She didn't even have the support of women across the Board given many didn't think a woman would be a good President. Barack Obama was in the right place at the right time. If Former President George Bush, was just 20% to 30% better at the job, Obama might not have had it so easy. But the Country was so disappointed in Bush, that they decided to go as far in the opposite direction as possible and if Clinton wasn't going to be annointed, then Obama was the next obvious choice whether he was ready or not. |
