I have listed several reasons I prefer rockband, but here is the long big time mortal blow.

I got GH4 at launch from BestBuy with a 30day warranty and everything was fine(save I wanted to play the drums a lot more, but I also wanted to get good songs, so the drums lost that battle).
About 30 days later I unlocked all of the songs and I pull the drums out to finally have some fun. However as I pull it out I notice the Orange cymbal's base is broken. I know my warranty for BestBuy is expired so I don't bother with them. I begin looking into contacting Activision immediately, with two months to do so. Keep in mind the drums had been used in less songs than you count on both hands and had primarily been played by me on beginner and easy. On beginner the cymbals are not going to get hit period, ok. On easy 90% of the notes are red and yellow, so the orange cymbal was not get hit very much. (and even if it was it should stand up to being hit, it is a set of drums after all!) Not only was it rarely hit, it was the one cymbal I didn't have to hit harder than I liked to make respond. The Yellow cymbal actually was by far the one I had to hit hardest and it is perfectly fine, so it was definitely some defect that Activision is responsible for.
Ok, so I begin sending Activision's support e-mails, however they all come back with the message that the e-mail address does not even exist. I continue to try to e-mail more of their addresses getting the same message.
After sending the fist e-mail I found their warranty replacement site and also used that avenue. There they just ignored me trying and eventually succeeding in pushing me past the warranty expiration. I keep trying all of these methods of contacting them. (except I never mailed because that takes weeks, minimum, just to get there and to be read.) And then my warranty finally expires.

I don't feel like they deserve to ever get anymore of my business if they will hide and play games and not rectify their mistakes.

I'm probably going to try to fix it today... A dowl rod and some kind of adhesive should do the trick.
Edit: Ok a dowl rod won't fit...
@BurningNinja
It isn't so much that it broke that peeves me it is that they try to avoid fixing the problem for 2 months. Anyway I probably would have needed to look it over with a flashlight to notice the crack.
