#&@%!$* Idiots!
The classic Nintendo Wii controller is going to be banned in the USA... Anascape (or some company like that) sued Nintendo for 'copying' their controller idea, instead of settling out of court they took it to the judge and Nintendo lost, they however are appealing the judge's verdict if you want the specifics:

http://tech.msn.com/news/articlepcw.aspx?cp-documentid=8815433&GT1=40000

I first heard about some company or other claiming Nintendo stole their idea, but that was before the Wii was out... Apparently they were serious..... Get your classic controllers now while you still can, after the ban is fully put you won't be able to buy them anymore here, however Wiimotes and Nunchuck controllers aren't being banned.

Internet channel...
The Wii does, but I think Nintendo has a way of tracking those types of things...

Internet channel...
No you can't, but I could've gotten somethin' else... I may put it on a sd card and give it to a friend of mine.

Internet channel...
I got it, unfortunately it can't run videos from gamespot, but other than that it fits my needs.

Unfortunately the game I got with my other Wii points was a game I already had, Kirby's Adventure for NES... Well apparently it is the same game as Nightmare in Dreamland, which I had two copies of (both were given to me, so I've only spent five bucks, but still kinda sucks, a waste of five bucks to somebody who makes less than minimum wage per hour.)

Internet channel...
Should I get it? It's only five bucks (really it's ten 'cause of how much you pay for one package of Wii points.) You can go anywhere on the web right? So that means I could go to Homestarrunner.com? I'm pretty sure you can, but I'm just clarifying it.

Wii E3
I saw a few good games, however those I probably won't be allowed to play, and/or they are for PC. One of the cool ones I saw was demigod, unfortunately it will probably be rated M, and it is for the PC. Now Deadly Creatures (which GBPA already pointed out in this thread) looks amazing. I was disappointed that there was no Kirby news, or for that matter Golden Sun news, for several years there have been rumors on Golden Sun 3, but nobody has clarified anything.

Unbelievable!
That hilarious, I just had that same idea the other day, get a T15 rating, they only have what? Four? If they had a fifth it would help, at least it would help parents decide whether this game is good or not.

The Brawl-Open Tournament
I will not be joining, for several reasons. One: I always have bad lag, I'd be about ten seconds behind everyone, at least. Two: I may be out of town then.

Metroid Prime.
My brother bought a Gamecube when he started going to college, so my dad couldn't restrict him from playing, I however will not be going to college for a few years. I was quite surprised my dad even let me buy a Wii (most money I've ever spent at one time, the second most was when I got a DS lite which I only payed for 2/3 of.) What I'll do is borrow it and show him the game. The unfortunate thing with Hunters is it is the easiest of the four games I want to get, and the shortest, and I don't have Wifi with my DS, however you can still play comps, so that is a bonus not often seen in a lot of FPS games.

Being controlling and a parent are two different things, if you raise a child right then though they will be apt to question you from human nature they know what you say is best. My dad is not letting me play because he thinks the game promotes violence (it does, but only to some extent. Metroid is actually less violent in some areas than the Zelda games, which several of the ones I have my dad bought for me.) Though I may not like his decision I still respect it (hence why when people offer to let me play them in Halo I refuse, even if my dad is miles away, I know what he said was right so I don't play.

Metroid Prime.
I'm thinking about buying Metroid Prime two, three, and Hunters. My brother already has the first so I'm just gonna borrow it from him. That is, if my dad lets me, he isn't a big fan of FPS, Metroid Prime is not bad at all, but if it's first person and you have a gun my dad doesn't like it. Last time I played was like two years ago and he told me to turn it off, now he may have changed his mind... (Hopefully these games are really fun.)

Sonic Unleashed discussion
Meh, Sonic is dumb now. The only time it was any good was for the old Sega systems. Nowadays it's bull, I'm not sure if they are still running the TV show, but that thing was idiotic... Now they have to many characters that do to many things, it used to be you could play as Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles. Originally it was only Sonic and Knuckles you could play as, you'd see Tails only as a pilot. Now they got a bunch of dumb hard to follow crap.

The Devil's Advocate thread
Be we allowed to ask questions about what other people believe? And not just what doctrines mean that are taught in said religions. (Yes I know that is hard to read. wiggitywack )

You just don't give up kid, you must really want this chic.. er treasure here is your next clue find it in these lyrics! Mwa,ha,ha! (actually not that hard of a riddle)

Livin' On The Edge lyrics

There's somethin' wrong with the world today
I don't know what it is
Something's wrong with our eyes

We're seein' things in a different way
And God knows it ain't his
It sure ain't no surprise

Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge

There's somethin' wrong with the world today
The light bulb's gettin dim
There's meltdown in the sky

If you can judge a wise man
By the color of his skin
Then mister you're a better man than I

[Chorus:]
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself from fallin'
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself at all
Livin' on the edge
You can't stop yourself from fallin'
Livin' on the edge

Tell me what you think about your sit-u-a-tion
Complication - aggravation
Is getting to you

If chicken little tells you that the sky is fallin'
Even if it wasn't would you still come crawlin'
Back again
I bet you would my friend
Again & again & again & again & again

Tell me what you think about your sit-u-a-tion
Complication - aggravation
Is getting to you

If chicken little tells you that the sky is fallin'
Even if it was would you still come crawlin'
Back again
I bet you would my friend
Again & again & again & again

Something right with the world today
And everybody knows it's wrong
But we can tell 'em no or we could let it go
But I'd would rather be a hanging on
[Chorus]

Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Livin' on the edge
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
[Chorus]

Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself
You can't help yourself
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself at all
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself
You can't help yourself
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself
You can't help yourself
Livin' on the edge
You can't help yourself from fallin'

Unbelievable!
Not entirely, if the game isn't censored then it gets a higher rating, and I don't think they wanted GH to get a M rating, though it easily could with some back round stuff I noticed. In order to get T they have to censor some stuff.....

Also, in the United States being politically correct means you can't question anyone's style of living... When sometimes you should... (This really belongs in a different part of the forum.)

Latest Post: Different Style Zelda.
@ Mavrik I respect your opinion, but Zelda is a kids game the highest rating they get is T and that was only in Twilight Princess. Now a change of story would be nice, but the reason Zelda is famous is because of it's story (and to some extent game play, hence why Ocarina of Time was a big hit.) Now if they made it a save the world instead of princess it would be cool, now if they gave you a option to be the antagonist in one file and the protagonist on the other that would be awesome even if it was still a princess situation it would be cool.

@ GBPA That is a good idea, but it make more sense like this:

Link's items: sword, claw shot, boomerang, grappling hook, deku nuts, iron boots (as well as the blue tunic,) and bow. Link's abilities: swim, dive, stealth (like in TWW,) jump (like in the 2-D games just without an item, with the Wiimote/Nunchuck controller there are enough buttons for it to be possible,) karate (Link is good enough that he doesn't always need a sword,) tiger-riding (I'd like to see Link ride a tiger into battle,) and various types of magic.

Deku Scrub's items: deku nuts, and deku stick. Deku Scrub's abilities: float (on water,) stealth, weak defense (everything hurts these guys more,) and super jump (a higher jump than Link's because it is lighter.)

Hylian's (another elf like Link to help fight) items: sword, hammer, bow, deku stick, and bombs. Hylian's abilities: jump, swim, karate, and horse-riding (Link is the only one who gets a tiger though.)

Goron's items: bombs, super bombs, and hammer. Goron's abilities: roll (can do a super jump while rolling,) super karate (extra powerful punches,) sink (Goron's sink in water so it would be just like falling in a hole, you get hurt and revert to the place where you entered that area/room,) and improved defense (against all attacks including magic attacks also reduced damage from fire and ice.)

Zora's items: spear (like the ones in TP,) and water bombs. Zora's abilities: super swim (can swim faster,) super dive (can dive faster,) weak karate, and jump.

Ok, it sounds a lot like Majora's mask, just with a few additions and such, also it'd have your idea where you can switch only at certain areas, really since you'd have to change so much it would be at entrances to areas or some place in every area can have something that can switch your party member. This would make it a lot more complicated that TMM.

Add the idea where you could be either the protagonist party, or the antagonist party. Put a bunch of side-quests, but still have a main story to it and you have a solid Zelda game.

Get Smart.
It wasn't pleasant at all..... X_X

Other than those two parts there is pretty much nothing bad, just they do curse now and again and like I said earlier there is some crude/suggestive humor.

Expelled
I saw this a few months ago, it was really good, I'm surprised Ben Stein did this, he is not a Christain. He had a very open mind when he was doing this, I'm glad somebody famous did this. Unfortunately very few people have seen it, when I went to see it there were about fifteen people in the theatre (a third of which was made up of my family.) It had only come out about a week before, so that was kinda depressing because it has a lot of good points. Ben Stein doesn't take sides here, he says what he hears and asks questions contradictory to both sides.

Dark Knight.
If you go see a movie this is one you should see.

Get Smart.
I finally saw Get Smart, it is filled with laughs, explosions, karate chops, dancing, etc. This movie was terrific though they didn't lay off the crude humor. Though that is what I expected, I was still rather disgusted, the movie is still good though. Though it was not as good as master pieces such as Wall-E and The Dark Knight that recently came out, it can still be compared to Ironman which was a large release recently.

If you see this movie you can take young ones along, just be sure to cover there eyes when Steve Correll kisses Dwayne Johnson, also about five minutes after that you get a shot of Steve's bare hind parts... (That was possibly the scariest thing I've see in any movie so far this year. wiggitywack )

Dark Knight.
This movie was one of the greatest I've seen all year in theaters, I saw it a 11:50 showing this morning. I loved Wall-E it got a 9/10, Dark Knight however got a 10/10 (in my opinion at least.) What is funny is I liked Wall-E a bit more than Dark Knight 'cause it was hilarious, but Dark Knight scored higher because it had more action, it was gripping, you would become part of the story...

I will not spoil much, but I will say this, Batman has four enemies, the cops, the citizens of Gotham, the Joker, and Twoface. Yes they managed to work one of the comic's more known villains into the story, though they manage to kill him about an hour after introducing him as a villain. I did not sympathize with the joker as much as many large newspapers did when they watched it, Heath Ledger though he did terrific was not as good as I was led to believe.

Though this movie is incredible it is not for people younger than I'd say at least fourteen, maybe fifteen. It is traumatizing at some points, not because of what you see, but because of what you hear and don't see that disturbs you, for instance (don't read this next sentence if you don't like to be disgusted) the Joker sticks a knife in a guy's mouth, and yanks it out his cheek, as he does this the camera switches, but you still know what happens, and you see the dude fall to the ground dead. There is also very little humor to make up for certain events in this movie, and the ending is not a happy one, I will not say what it is, but note, you will not walk away thinking that they won't make it into a trilogy.

Latest Post: Different Style Zelda.
I am glad to say that this particular rumor is fake.

I agree with the save Zelda part, but not the FF part. FF is considered one of the greatest rpgs, but as far as gameplay goes only III and XII are any good, the turn base in FF most of the time sucks, the only reason III was any good because you could change your character classes, therefore making the game much more customizable, XII was good because you played in real time, the battles were similar to KH (which is very fun.) Also XII had a much better story than the rest. Zelda has a good story most of the time, and the game play is terrific (at least in the 3-D ones, and many of the 2-D ones.) It does need something new, but not FF new, maybe if they made Zelda like fable it would be a lot better at least if they made it like Fable in some aspects while retaining a E-T rating Zelda is after supposed to be a kids game.
