Ragequit mechanics have always been a bit iffy for me, because a lot of systems out there don't differentiate between obvious ragequits and legitimate lost connections. This would've been especially important for SFV, because by many accounts the current netcode is shit and keeps dropping matches for no discernible reason. Still, I guess something would be better than nothing as long as they're not draconian about it. |

I mean, I don't know if I'd go that far; the game is pretty well made and they are clearly catering to the larger bulk of their core audience as much as they could. Also, everything else is coming, free of charge later down the line. I just think that with all the promises and hype, getting hit by this AAAccess, as Mr. Sterling called it, feels like a slap in the face. A person said to me that this is the better option to just getting a "full" game then getting a revision in a few months, which may be true but, who's to say they won't do that anyway? I think we'll have to sit on this one and see what happens. Killer Instinct kinda pulled something similar and, honestly, it's turned out to be a really great game. |

A friend of mine over Tumblr has stated that this game should only have been released if it was marketed at 19.99 USD, and that's if they insisted on using hard-disk copies.

Apparently this was based off retail numbers and not digital purchases, which... kinda seems like skewing the numbers if you ask me. I've come to really hate Street Fighter over the years, don't get me wrong, but I'm not desperate enough to twist sales to make it look like it's losing to a WiiU exclusive. >_> |
