Not unless they just decide to rehash 4 again and milk the shit out of it to make it look like a new thing. Either way, there will be milking.

They just look like SF4 HD Edition or some shit. Are they really sticking to the same hideous art style? Fucking rehash, I called it first. Also, the fact that it's a PS4 exclusive (consolewise, everything fucking comes to the PC) kinda bothers me; I get that Microsoft has no presence in Japan and there's no way the fighting scene would be anywhere else besides a Japanese console, but still, it just feels plenty off. Not unless Sony gave them a ton of cash for exclusivity and, let's face it, Capcom needs the money. Remember, it's Capcom and unless Sony gave them some insanely high amount that we're not thinking of, they won't only have it (or future versions) on just the PS4. As for the game itself. I can't even begin to understand why; this IS an official trailer, right? Does this mean the video's fake? Was it leaked early? What's going on? Unless Capcom pulls a 180 and goes "SIKE" and ends up releasing this incredible 2D, sprite based fighter that's super technical and smooth and flowy and not just another rehash of the SSF2T engine, then I ain't biting.

According to the video Maximilian uploaded/re-uploaded, he explains in the beginning that it was a leak. It wasn't meant to be shown and somebody messed up. He still got the strike too :( Gimme that 2D fighter and I'm set! But that would make it all a dream. @BL That wouldn't surprise me, but they'd likely one up it if they did.

Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	Considering ~~Allen Snyder's~~ Abel's backstory implied he was still around, it isn't hard to believe. The weird gem in his forehead probably suggests he was brought back by someone and is being controller by them. So it's nice to see that the game actually uses those watercolour effects advertised to death in the LAST game's promotional material. Looks like there's also some kind of stun move and a power up move that lets you do more damage. I guess it's nice to see they're actually moving forward with the franchise again as opposed to just re-treading SSF2T territory like they did before. It still looks butt ugly and clunky though. Shame Capcom doesn't have the ability to move forward from 3 or even Alpha 3. SNK and Arc System Works has them beat, no contest, in that department.
