This week on the Jimquisition: Dark Souls III has been out in Japan a good few weeks now, well before the global release (Jim points out that it may be because Namco Bandai wanted more sales before the end of the JP fiscal year) and Jim is having none of it. |

Another Dark Souls episode. This week, the same issues surrounding cheating in the PC release of Dark Souls II have wormed their way into Dark Souls III on PC. And Namco Bandai has completely fucked up in response, accidentally banning innocent players, without having a system in place to reverse said fuck ups. Hell, in most cases, the cheaters are actually getting off scot free. Also, new credit sequences. |

This week: Activision CEO Bobby Kotick strikes again (or whatever who the fuck cares who thought of this it's fucking bullshit regardless) Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastaered has been announced alongside the new CoD game, Infinity Warfare. Buuuuuut, there's a catch. You want the updated verion of the original phenomenon? You better be ready to pony up the cash for one of the three special editions of the new game, 'cos it'll be exclusive to that. Either forever, or until sales on Infinity Warfare trickle off. Jim has finally gotten so sick of this shit that he can't even find the energy to actually get angry about it. |

This week on The Jimquisition: Despite all of the pre-release shenanigans surrounding the new DOOM game (notably the lack of any review copies until after the game had already come out), it has turned out amazingly well. Even more so, Jim absolutely loves the characterisation of the playable character, known only as the "Doom Slayer" by the demons of Hell. |

Was there ever really any doubt? I honestly never saw any of the disdain people had for Doom when everything we were told and shown indicated that it was a game tailor made for the fans. |

This week: the resurgence of colourful, unique and not-grey-and-brown shooter-type games, like Overwatch, Battleborn and even DOOM. Also, mention of the unfortunate mess that was Overstrike/Fuse, no thanks to EA. And, of course, as the title suggests, a talk of just how popular Overwatch has been in the days of the beta tests, all the way up to the release of the game.
