 I...haven't found a topic, so I'm just gonna make a new one. Anyway, a "big alpha" is on the way, with two ways to get in on the thing. First is pre-ordering the game, which guarantees you a slot in the alpha. Some outlets are sending out codes that you can register for a chance to get a slot in the alpha. I got a chance code from EB Games, so it's just a matter of wait and see.

The Big Alpha starts November 1 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC/Steam. The Alpha ends on November 3. Xbox One also gets an exclusive headstart on October 31.

The game itself launches February 10, 2015.

 Found two e-mails from the Evolve team in my inbox. First up: I'm in the PS4 alpha. Yay. Second: Due to issues that wormed their way to the surface in the wake of PS4 system firmware update v2.00 (most likely triggered by said update) the alpha has been delayed on PS4 for the time being. PC and Xbox One are unaffected and currently underway.

Thirdly: To apologise for the hiccup, everyone listed for the PS4 alpha has been sent a registration and referral code that they can use to access the alpha on either Xbox One or PS4. No strings attached.

I would jump on the PC test, but my PC would not be able to handle it at all. And that's assuming my hard drive has enough space to install the bastard in the first place. SO, I guess I can just dump off the codes to whoever wants to give the thing a try?

 The alpha is buggy piece of shit on the One.

Servers crash constantly, and when you do spawn...you don't spawn properly. I was the monster and couldn't be seen or do any moves

 Despite being at nearly the front of the line for every test they've had, I've been unable to play because they keep forgoing any kind of low-end support to the point where I get "incompatible graphics card" errors still. Mind you, I've ran other games from CryEngine3, and this is just a fucking L2D clone by L4D devs.*

*I'm being facetious here, I'm aware of the differences.

 It's a fucking shame Evolve turned out the way it did, because when it was first revealed it looked like the only reason to get any next gen console sans WiiU. At this rate I question whether either of the remaining two have any value to me now, and I can't see myself buying them for a looooooong ass time.

 Only exclusive I can think of is Sunset Overdrive, honestly, though I have a feeling it'll make the jump to PC at some point. Maybe some Master Chief too, but that doesn't have enough of a pull for me to warrant getting a new console.

But yeah, what the fuck went wrong with this?
