I'd like to see DLC that uses the base engine of the game but provides a different experience or campaign, but most "story" dlc is just a bit more of the same thing we already paid for. Oh wait we have that on PC, they're called MODS!

While NSMB2's level packs are fun challenges and an extra way for you to earn more coins, the DLC for Pok�mon Mystery Dungeon and Fire Emblem are self contained experiences that add more to the game in a variety of ways. For Fire Emblem, there are stages dedicated to playing in a specific way (enhancing character relationships, farming gold, grinding for exp), as well as the fact that some contain their own plot points, including references to older games and the ability to recruit older heroes. I think it's more of the same for Pok�mon too, but I'm not exactly sure since I haven't really dived into the game yet.
