Fabulous Homosexual Posts: 6,262 Group: Elite Member #59 Joined: November 9, 2009	A small update from an earlier post I made: Mass Effect Trilogy will be releasing for the PS3 on December 4, 2012. Even more relevant, the 360 version will contain much of the DLC as well as access to more (Cerberus Network). The PS3 version will contain Bring Down the Sky (ME1), all DLC that came with the retail version of ME2 (all but Arrival), and ME3 will not contain any DLC like at retail. They've since been reprimanded and given temporary salary cuts - a pretty shit time for it too, bearing in mind the Christmas period.

Namely, you can still play online without it, but unless you redeem or purchase one, your online Speed Rank will not increase at all. That's what I learned from the copy that Mum rented out from Video Ezy. I have my own copy of the game, but I'm hiding and not playing it until Mum gets her copy on Christmas Day.

That HAS been the standard for sports games for the past 15 years, give or take. You'll only see a technical overhaul every 5 iterations of the game so, in my opinion, they should only be releasing these these every few years instead of every year. Seriously, I don't know what's sadder, the fact that companies like EA do this and make bank every fucking year, or the fact that the sheeple are willing to shell out $50 or it's equivalent every godamn year to buy them.

That might not happen much longer; not only is EA losing that monopoly, but Madden 2013 had one of the biggest return ratios I've ever seen, at least in my town. I've never seen so many used copies a few days after its release.

It could just end up being like Kingdom of Amalur, where they seal away a small amount of the single player gameplay, or they'll force in some crappy multiplayer.

BL;DR Posts: 3,493 Group: Elite Member #80 Joined: September 7, 2010	I actually wouldn't mind some Mirror's Edge multiplayer, because if nothing else parkour races and chases are probably a hell of a lot more enthralling than the time trials they tried killing time with in the first one. Of course, that would likely depend on 1) lag being virtually non-existent, and 2) EA not being the cartoon supervillains of game design. All they'd really have to do beyond that is make it Origin exclusive and that'd be strike three in my book.
