So I was talking to Enzan, and waiting on some of my friends to start up a Castles and Crusades(rs) game when it occured to me that I have never before actually participated in a D20 game in true fashion. Therefore, I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in playing or DMing a game, since I am a complete beginner in the field I would highly suggest to find a DM or someone that may enjoy DMing. As far as the reference manuals and all that, message me for details for D&D 4th edition, as I am able to help you guys out if interested. As far as venue goes, I recently stumbled upon Roll20 which has all the perfect tools for keeping things clean, organized, logged, and graphical, as opposed to forum playing, at its FREE!!! So, at behest of anyone, I would love to play a D20 game of any nature, not just D&D, but I also would need some other players to make the experience that much greater. So....you guys....right over there in the back.....yeah.....you, you, you, and you! |

I swear, all your posts start with this. XD I would be interested since I'd REALLY like to get my feet wet with some tabletop gaming but, I don't have the patience for creating ANOTHER character that I'll end up never using because of things falling apart. That and I don't think I have the time to dedicate to something like this and, from what I've been told, these things tend to not work out as well online as opposed to IRL. |

I've made at least three different characters for tabletop games, none of which went anywhere. It's just too much of a chore because I hate the maths involved and I have to look up guidebooks for stats and seem to have a ridiculous limit to what I can carry. Seriously, character creation for these things is what sucks the fun out for me. |

Honestly, know that would detract from the experience but, considering my limited knowledge about these things and the fact that I can't seem to be able to participate in a game without it dying/never getting off the ground, I wouldn't mind at this point. |

Okay, so as it seems, I will have to run a game as a DM, and playing in these games has been some of the best sessions of time I have witnessed in a long time. So, if anyone is interested in playing in a game that I will DM, please let know when you could, and if DnD 4th edition is okay with you? If not I have the prototype system DnD next we could use, or Pathfinder we could use as well. Just let me know :0 |

So the system I have decided to use, if you guys want to play, is Dungeons and Dragons Next. The system was offered as play test materials, so it is still a work-in-progress system. However, it does equal a lot of common sense in the materials and gives more openness to the role playing and less number crunching. Thought about adapting a system on RP's here, but that is another story for another day. The system, I can get you through Skype or through email. It isn't very big, but it's a PDF and it's in black-n-white. |

GUYS I GOT MY HANDS ON SOME PREGEN CHARACTERS AND THE STARTER SET ADVENTURE! What this means: We can play a game, that is geared towards newbies and has characters made so I don't have to do anything with the sets. I also can give you choices to pick from. This is an easy one off adventure with some fun little things going on. INTEREST CHECK! |
