I knew there was a reason why I thought it looked like Scott Pilgrim: http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2011/02/autumn...hing_skullg.php Also, moving out of Microsoft section because it's obviously multiplat. EDIT: Here's the official site: http://www.skullgirls.com I love how the head of the Medici family is called Lorenzo Medici after the famous Florentine ruler. |

Okay guys, this is the first recorded Skullgirls beta match: Apparently the developers want to start characters out weak and tweak/enahnce them gradually through player feedback. I don't think I've really seen a developer work like that before and it's really refreshing to hear. Edited by Eternally Fallen, Aug 11 2011, 09:58 AM.

It should be noted that Kirbopher of Newgrounds fame was recently hired for animation work, if you're wondering why many of the animations for Parasoul don't seem as smooth or nice as the previous three characters. |

Tutorials: Teaching the Untechable
Good, or bad? I certainly like the idea of what he's trying to accomplish here. |

Why would the inclusion of tutorials be bad? If they can find a great way of implementing it into the game, it'd be awesome. On that note, a lot of complex fighting games are only complex to those looking to master them and maybe play them in tournaments. Some are simple enough on the surface for anyone to pick up and get a good grip on. A prime example of this would be Tatsunoko VS Capcom, as it's easy to pick up and play, but can be very complex and strategy heavy for those who need it to be. |

I thought they showed that character like a month ago... with like a longer video that was like 10+ minutes or something. |

I keep watching that same video over and over and over again, but somehow that self-decapitation mechanic never gets any less hilarious. That omnomnomnomnom grab keeps getting me every time XD |

Basically, someone just took your bread and butter catgirl, but added a whole lot more butter to make her interesting. :P |

I'm hoping for a PC release, because this looks way too good to not get out there more. Considering it's a downloadable title and how Steam loves it's indie developers, it shouldn't be too hard distributing it. |
