GOOD GOD THAT LOOKS FUCKING INCREDIBLE! Though part of me is a liiiiiiittle disappointed we went back to a fighting game because the direction they took with Guilty Gear 2 was pretty interesting and I wanted to see what they'd do next. Still, I can only assume this is because of how poorly it sold and fan complaints, but either way, my god, if that's actual gameplay footage it's jizzoworthy on its own. Needz moar though, I hope they continue the story after 2 and show us what the fuck happened. Also, no more godamn spinoffs, if I see any more X's or Accent Cores or Pluses, I will rape people's face. Also, DAT MYUUZAK! |

When you think about it, though, each "X" denotes a sequel. Guilty Gear X was the sequel to the first GG, and GGXX, the sequel to X. |

Not really, Daisuke Ishitawari has stated numerous times that the X's are spinoffs and that Overture on the 360 was the true sequel to Guilty Gear. |

Even still, each of the X series' stories is a continuation of the previous game's story. GG1 dealt with the war against Justice, seguing into X and the hunt for Dizzy, follwed by XX and the machinations of that bitchwhore I-no. Xrd may well be a segue between XX and Overture, judging by the radically different attire worn by Ky and Millia. |

Yeah, I get that, and it's great that we got to know more through them, but all the same, Overture left it on a cliffhanger and we could really do with knowing more about what happens next. What happens in between can be left up to fan speculation or whatever external material they decide to publish (this is a perfect excuse for them to do an anime series too). |

Honestly? I'd prefer a sequel to Overture. We're getting our fighting fix from Aksys in the form of BlazBlue, so I'm fine not getting another Guilty Gear fighter. But either way, this is still awesome, so I'm not really complaining, just thinking out loud. |

To each his own then. I don't care for a sequel to Overture anytime soon and Blazblue having released many forms/extensions of the story (similar to Accent Core for Guilty Gear) doesn't fill my fix as much as I'd want. Chrono Phantasma can wait too, I doubt it'll take ~10 years for it's sequel (compared to GGXX) :\
