Posts: 4,950 Group: Elite Member #70 Joined: November 11, 2009	Late last year (specifically, from late Oct to early Dec), Matt Lees (the E3 Abridged guy, if you really need a reminder on who he is) did a three part series on Destiny. Talks about the story, the loot system, the gameplay and playable content, while also voicing his concerns for the future. I don't think The Dark Below had been released at this time? I have no idea.

Even the final mission of the launch content wasn't this ridiculous. I did (eventually) manage to clear the first three quests in the Dark Below expansion, though I'm probably gonna have to go back to the first one every now and then as that's the only I can find the Blades of Crota now. Stupid Crota's Bane bounties.

So far managed to get three legendary pieces (a scout rifle, a pulse rifle and a piece of Titan body armour) from Decoherant Engrams. Light Level 27 yea. Now I can do all the overworld stuff, like shoot that stupid Queenbreaker Captain who lurks in that one area you have to go through to get more Patrol Missions.

I'm not even certain how many there actually are but at launch I think there were at least three for each category, with more added in each expansion (and if you purchased expansion I, the game gives you a random legendary weapon that was added in said expansion) And that's not even getting into the friggin' Exotic gear, which is so rare and powerful, the game restricts you to being able to equip only a single exotic weapon and exotic armour at a time. These screenshots were taken before I decided to test my luck with an Exotic engram sold by Xur, which yielded me another Titan chest piece. Which is strange, because I expected to get a piece of Hunter or Warlock armour, as Legendary or Exotic drops from engrams end up giving you armour for a random class. And yet both pieces of armour I've gotten were Titan armour. Yay? Edited by Luffy Foxtrot, Jun 13 2015, 05:29 PM.
