The firm feels that these fans will grow older and eventually stop caring about video games. To combat this, Capcom plans on doing promotional material to appeal to younger people. Capcom will be collaborating with fashion brands that are popular with younger people. Resident Evil “Halloween Horror Night” will be another promotion Capcom will be doing to appeal to non-gamers. The firm is also planning on opening up a Resident Evil cafe in Shibuya, Tokyo

Radley Dec 29 2013, 12:16 PM I am becoming more convinced that Destructoid is being bought off by Capcom Honestly, with Tony no longer being on the staff, my interest in Destructoid has pretty much dwindled to the same amount of interest I hold for Kotaku. At the end of the day, it's just another review site with more individuals devoted to specific companies/franchises than it is gamers talking about games. Don't get me wrong, it's probably the last vestige of sane videogame journalists on the internet, with guys like Jim Sterling, but I wouldn't go out of my way looking for info through them as opposed to just being linked to one of their articles.

Actually, Jim's no longer with Destructoid, so I have no reason to really stick with it anymore. As far as I'm concerned, it's a trashier Gamespot. Allgamesbeta is the only gaming journo site I care for, these days: just the news, none of the bullshit.
