For those of you whom I've contacted about the game, here's the current details:

It appears that most people have an opening in their schedules at around 6 PM EST/2300 GMT. The game will probably last between 2-3 hours, so if this isn't a good time for you please sure to note it.

There's a collection of different games that are possible to be played. I'm going to outline the games themselves to give people an idea of what might be best for them, but I don't expect you to read through all the books (though, if you want to, go right ahead.)

Basic Fantasy RPG: This is very simple, has a ton of supported extras, and allows most races to play as most classes without any limits imposed. This is vying for my attention with the game that I'm putting directly under this one. If nothing else, I might just steal most of the features of this game for use in another.

Labyrinth Lord: A good book, adds a lot of stuff, but some of the stuff is absolutely unnecessary. Dwarves, Elves, and Halflings are classes in this, and they have level limits as well (though these can be eschewed.) Very simple to learn.

Swords and Wizardry: Extremely stripped down to basics, with only three playable classes and three other racial classes. I believe the Whitebox version adds a bit more features, like multiclassing and removal of level limits for non-humans. This is extremely stripped down in comparison to the other games, but is otherwise just as viable as long as care is taken in adding rules to it.

Dungeons and Dragons Basic and Expert Red Box: I like it, but it's not readily available for free. It's the game that LL and BFRPG are based off of, so there's a reason why this is still on the list. It's stripped down compared to LL, but that's a good thing in many situations.

OSRIC: This is based off of the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game, so there's a lot more rules, a lot more options, and a lot more to chew through. It's not difficult to play once you know the rules, but there's a lot of rules that have to be learned on the fly. I'd put this right under Labyrinth Lord and Basic Fantasy RPG, though I'd prefer to play this if everyone wanted a lot more options.
