I know that the creator of the series only ever planned for Phoenix to be around for three games, and that, when Capcom approached him with the contract for more Act Attorney titles, he pretty much said "I'll keep making them, but I'm not putting Phoenix Wright as the main character any more. His story was meant to be finished, I'll keep it finished."

Part man...part beast...full psycho! Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	The series is titled "Ace Attorney", so the character isn't meant to be static. This was the mistake the English localisation made with the first game, by having PHOENIX WRIGHT plastered all over the box with Ace Attorney as the subtitle. When they realised the intention of the series as having multiple protagonists, they tried to fix this by subduing the PHOENIX WRIGHT in favour of ACE ATTORNEY. Unfortunately, the damage was already done and people mainly think of Phoenix when the series' name is brought up. Either way, Apollo's most likely going to be the main character, no doubt about it since he was set up to be the lead in the last game. What I'm worried about is whether we're getting this or not. I'm still waiting on my Ace Attorney Investigations 2 godammit.
