I don't have a problem with a unified network, I already use the same address to sign into Google, Gmail and Youtube. But screening what you browse and collecting data on you? Why the fuck has the internet become the exact opposite of what it's supposed to be?

It's funny how they will protest sopa, but AGREE to this...

I think when this takes affect, people should switch to yahoo or Bing as a way to protest this. Get rid of your chrome browser, and use FireFox. I'm sure people would have to hold on to their gmail accounts, but every other aspect of using the web could change. If Google notices what's going on with their drop in user activity, maybe they'll think of rewriting their privacy policy. Though, if they're anything like godaddy, they could always say one thing and then do another.

Maybe I should take to reddit with that idea.

Then again, it's probably no different than what facebook has been doing to people...

Edit: well obviously reddit already has that suggestion. There are alternatives like scroogle.org
