Lookie.

This article is a month old, but interesting revelations. Although, more recent news is that Tom Hardy has signed on to the next movie, and rumor has it that Dr. Strange may make an appearance.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

You mean Hugo Strange, right? Not to be confused with Marvel Comics' Dr. Strange. As for the movie, I'm still not sure how it's "definite" that Two-Face died at the end, it seemed pretty wide open to me, and there's plenty of chance for him to reappear somewhere in a sequel. There's also Scarecrow still lingering around, and a whole cavalcade of rogues gallery to put out there, so only time will tell. Nevertheless, it's good to see some actual development on it being brought up every once in a while.

I believe Nolan himself has already stated that Two-Face is not only merely dead, he's really most sincerely dead.

Damn shame. I mean, I'm not against killing off characters, I actually find that commendable but, I figured the point was to build up his rogues gallery through each movie. I know Nolan's only doing three, but it's more than likely that someone else will pick up the franchise after he's done with it and continue on from there (I sure as hell hope we get some variation of Knightfall).

Speculation time then; who would Nolan pick to be his next villain. We know he'd go for someone iconic and dark, so there's quite a bit to choose from here. Mr. Freeze perhaps?

Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman is probably the biggest surprise for me, well same for Tom Hardy.

But the fact of the matter is, I can't wait to see Hathaway show off Selina's character, since she has been type cast as the goody/nice girl a lot.

Not that I want to see her in a skimpy suit and acting all sexual, but I think she could pull sly with a little dash of bitch off very well.

Tom Hardy I'm probably more excited about, since I loved him in Inception. And the fact that we won't get a "XBOX HOOG" Bane is sort of a good thing, but of course Hardy will really have to buff up for this role.

They're going to probably make a computer animated Bane as Bane typically is superfluously blown up when it comes to muscle.

And the fact that we won't get a "XBOX HOOG" Bane is sort of a good thing, but of course Hardy will really have to buff up for this role.

It all really depends on how well they pull it off. He's at least twice Batman's size, so anything less will just look goofy like the Bane from Batman & Robin. If he's too big, he'll just look too cartoonish and will look completely out of place in Nolan's Batmanverse. Also, the other inherent problem that most media outside the comics tends to have with Bane is depicting him as a brutish, muscleheaded goon, when the reality is that Bane is a cunning, crafty and very intelligent villain. He singlehandedly broke Batman, both mentally, and physically, through a series of events he orchestrated during the first part of Knightfall, his introduction into the universe.

If Nolan thinks he can do Bane justice, I believe in him. I want to see his take on the character for myself before I pass judgement though. As for Catwoman, Anne Hathaway's a damn good actress, I think the part's right up her alley. She may be famous for portraying good girl characters, but her roles in Ella Enchanted and The Devil Wears Prada show an inherent feistiness, spunk and a rebellious attitude. If anyone in this generation can pull off a Catwoman, she can.

Hmm, Hugo Strange may not be completely axed after all...

Note that it's a rumor.

Eeeeeeeeeeh, having three villains in one movie seems a tad overkill. That is unless they'd just delegate Hugo Strange to a passive role in THIS movie and hint at a more sinister one for future movies...which would be pretty rad.

Well, they could have him be the manufacturer of the Venom that empowers Bane.
