TF2's AI bots aren't the smartest thing in the world and definitely not a great replacement for real people but considering the flexibility of TF2 I feel like they do well enough? |

They do well enough, this much is true. The problem I have is that even though it's been quite some time since bots have been introduced, there's absolutely no variety among their ranks. The AI uses the same stock loadout every time even though this new mode proves that this needn't be the case. Swapping out models at least might be interesting. Making it so bots can have various unlockable/obtainable weapons would at least make things more interesting. (Also, apparently bot Engies remove Sappers by coincidence. From what I hear they're coded to repair damaged buildings and are not truly aware of Sappers. As a result, bot Engies will not actively attempt to remove RTR sappers since those do not actively damage buildings.) |

More behaviours and weapons would be nice certainly, I'm just saying that if you expected these bots to be some kind of useful coordinated force rather than the rather easily fooled bots we have at the moment then I would not get your hopes up. |

Preview of the Update (which is coming out today, by the way): http://www.teamfortress.com/blizzbobarrabas/ Things of interest for this update: - Merasmus is the boss monster in this one, on an unspecified KOTH Halloween Map. This KOTH map has a gimmick where whenever the point is captured, a random effect happens (the Wheel of Fate). Two of the cards seen already say "Super Spped" (typo) and "Small Head" in the symbol font - Halloween Gifts are individual drops instead of server-wide. This means everyone can get gifts without having to race everyone else - Inside the gifts are potions that give various effects to other items in your backpack. - Mann Vs. Machine event where the robots are replaced with zombies. |

I'm hoping that the gifts don't require you to play with other people to get them, since I'm stuck with satellite. If I can't get any, could I ask someone to let me have spares of any potions they get, or don't want when the time comes? |
