 I managed to recall that there was a topic about this while watching the anime, which is fucking awesome, by the way. Especially Kakeru's catchphrase: "It's depressingly XX!" I take it that we haven't seen much in the way of the arcade system being localised? If not, I might just look into importing the 3DS game, even if the major appeal is in actually controlling a giant fighting robot like all those awesome anime shows D:

 THAT WON'T STOP ME, DAMMIT. I fully intend to import a Japanese 3DS, as there are a number of JP exclusives that I want, like the Cardfight!! Vanguard video game.

 So, currently the subs for the anime are at episode 27. This is 14 episodes behind the Japan airing, which aired episode 41 a few days ago. Because I'm an impatient little fuck, I started watching ahead of the subs and am now on 34. The end of episode 30 was depressingly creepy, by the way.

Anyway, I really like when subs/RAWs include commercials because I just got treated to an ad of the 3DS game, titled Arubarosu no Tsubasa, or Wings of Albaros. I just pulled the translated name out of my name hat; I have no idea what the official romanisation is. From the images and gameplay shown in the trailer I think it's a full game adaptation of episode 31, in which

It was released in Japan on the 13th of June for 5,490 yen retail and 5,000 in download form. Luffy wants. And Luffy will get, along with the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL 3DS game. I've been watching that (and Pokemon Best Wishes!) without subs, too.

Square still needs to hurry the fuck up and give us the arcade game. Even though I don't see any part of this franchise coming out of Japan officially because Square Enix would most likely have to pay royalites to each of the car companies. Copyrights are mean/stupid sometimes.
