I was hoping they would keep going, if not only to become the longest running cartoon show ever. The voice actors earn a small percentage of what the show actually makes, and they've been earning 8 million a year each. Now, the average man works his fingers to the bone every year to make 1/50th of this salary, all these guys need to do is SPEAK and make fans happy. They've been asked to agree to a 45 percent pay cut, so that's about 4 million-ish. That's still an insane salary. I can see that they would be mad in comparison to what the networks make from it, and the fact that they want to make a channel DEDICATED to ONLY Simpsons episodes, I don't understand why they're asking for them to take pay cuts. I guess I would have to side with the voice actors, even if they are paid a shitload of money, there's no reason they should take cuts with that much money flying around. Fabulous Homosexual Posts: 6,262 Group: Elite Member #59 Joined: November 9, 2009	If the cut the actors proposed doesn't go below the minimum percentage imposed by AFTRA, then they can bargain away, as this is a negotiation for a new contract. Also, the benefits they asked for back-end profits are all part of the benefits of being a unionized voice-actor, particularly if the show re-runs. I'm guessing the 45% decrease may fall below the set percentage of AFTRA, hence the arguing.

No I think the shocker is that this show has managed to last this long in the first place, considering it's been stagnating for over a decade.

	Good Game Hex: Yes, you've read the book, you've seen the film - now avoid the game like the plague lest your memory of Harry Potter's epic conclusion be tainted by what can only be described as a short, half-arsed cover-shooter that's boring beyond belief. Bajo: ...It's shit.
