Hey Polter, looks like you get to hear your first bit of 9/11 bitchplaining a couple of days late.

You know the worst part? The lady has a blog (which is linked in that article) and you'll find one of the comments there:

So, wait a minute. Lemme see if I got this right:

-You are of a ethnic group that is known to be “racially profiled” because of 9-11.
-You chose to fly on 9-11, and sit alongside others of suspicious ethnic groups.
-You were “racially profiled” because people of your ethnic group blew up almost 3,000 of our people, people that never even heard of Osama bin Laden before.
-You then proceed to complain about a violation of your “civil rights” when in fact, none of them were violated. Ever travel to Israel? They go through what makes what you did pale in comparison, and they have the safest flights in the world.

So you purposefully chose to fly on 9-11, knowing the atmosphere in our great country being how it is, and ESPECIALLY on this day when we were attacked by the likes of your people and you dare to complain about the measures put in place to guard us from the likes of you? Please.

You have NO room to complain, and I, for one, am glad that I chose to report you and the likes of you. I had a safe flight, content in the knowledge that I didn’t have to watch that section out of the corner of my eye the whole flight, and wondering if this would be the last flight I ever took. You deserved exactly what you got, you sympathizer, and if you don’t like what we are doing here to keep US safe, then go back home.

-A real USA citizen

I love how he kept using "our people" and "your people" when this woman is as much of an American citizen as his (most likely) pasty ass is. He tells her to go back home, yet that was exactly what she was doing.

This is the exact breed of motherfucker that is fucking up your country and it's because of people like him and their ignorant and asinine fear mongering that people like me can never feel completely safe ANYWHERE in the West these days. Because, you know, it's all the rage for an entire ethnic group, no fuck that, an entire shade of skin colour or group of facial features to be a social paraiah and a political scapegoat for the rest of the world to have their way with. And you know, we already have enough turmoil and bullshit to deal with in our own fucking region, especially with everyone and their mom having protests and riots and evil, tyrannical presidents trying to kill innocent people. It's bad enough that we have to deal with this shit on A DAILY BASIS and the fact remains that you don't see us reporting white people everytime they get on our planes for how badly they keep trying to invade our countries and steal our resources. Because, you know:

"Dear USA, Your 9/11 is our 24/7. Sincerely. Palestine."

That was the Facebook status for a lot of my Arab friends. While I'm not one to make any less of one human tragedy over another, I may have to agree with the principle behind this, i.e. stop crying for attention when other people have to put up with shit worse than that on a daily basis. If you're going to make a big deal over one tragic event, then you may as well do it for all of them, yet I don't see anyone having a remembrance day for this event, or this one, or even this one.

That comment is just as ridiculous as that collage of Facebook remarks you had over the FIFA Women's World Cup, when Japan beat the U.S. It's more than absurd that someone can actually feel that way toward someone just because of ethnicity or race.

I'm not really surprised that something like this happened on 9/11, but it's sad that things have come to a point where this is still happening ten years later.

What confuses me is that I don't remember anyone yelling "REMEMBER 2/13!" back when the WTC was bombed in 1993. Apparently airplanes are cooler than truck bombs or something.

So, in the news this morning, people are douches. Same old America as usual, eh?
