What I'm going to do is announce a character, maybe post a picture of them and leave it up to any of you guys to take on the role of said character. I don't really want this to be a first come, first served thing, so if multiple people want to take on the role of a specific character, you'd have to decide amongst yourselves who should have the role, maybe convince each other of who will perform the role better, or who will put a more interesting spin on a role. It is entirely up to you how you want to play a character, though I would probably recommend staying as much in-character as possible. I will obviously not be the only one introducing characters, as witnesses and such will constantly be called to the stand to do their part and anyone participating in the trial can call on other characters at their own disclosure, as long as it is relevant. If you're looking for reference images from the Ace Attorney series, you can find them all at Court Records (try not to hotlink). If you want to use the Objection site you are also free to do so. The most important thing here is everyone has fun with this and we keep it going for as long as it is enjoyable. If it's successful, I wouldn't mind doing other trials similar to this one in the near future. :3) Court is now in session for the trial of Capcom. The honourable judge Mario resides over the court. All rise. Representing the prosecution is Mr. Klavier Gavin. Guten tag, your honor. And representing the defense is Mr. Phoenix Wright. As Capcom is a large conglomerate, they have sent a representative to stand for the company during trial. A Mr. ...Dont�? HEY FUCK YOU MAN, IT'S DANTE. DANTE, YOU FEEL ME? Sir, please refrain from any further outbursts or I will have to detain you. (Pieces are set, and we're ready to begin. For the record, I will be playing Klavier Gavin. I also have no intention of playing Dont� (I will continue referring to him as this to differentiate him from the real Dante, since I kinda planned on calling him as a witness later, plus I think it'll make a nice running joke XD), but I just wanted to throw that joke out there to get things rolling. I picked Phoenix for defense because I haven't been approached by anyone who wanted a specific character for that role, so yeah, go with default. Alright everyone, have fun! Oh, and if you want to use better/clearer images than the ones I posted, you are completely free to do so.)

Capcom, as a legitimate business, has been developing, producing and publishing videogames for several decades now, rising up to unimaginable popularity in the 90's and early 00's. As time went on, the quality of their products seemed to decrease and they continued to make business decisions that baffled consumers and loyal fans on a regular basis. It has become clear, at this time, that Capcom no longer holds the ideals they once did and continue to insult its fanbase by using cheap tactics to gain more money from them, as well as releasing unfinished and unpolished products. This court WILL find the defendant guilty, whether they are represented by this "Dont�" character or anyone else. We have enough evidence and witnesses stacked against them that not even Herr Wright, The Turnabout King, can climb over!

Are you representing customers defrauded by one of Capcom's allegedly incomplete games in order to gain restitution for the cost of those games or are you attempting to claim Capcom is systematically defrauding consumers and needs to be shut down? (Welcome to having the semi-prelaw guy being your judge)

The prosecution's case seems strictly based on opinions and points of view, rather than hard concrete evidence that will prove their point. While the burden of proof remains with the prosecution, we the defense are certain that they cannot prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Capcom has been performing in fradulent game making and earning procedures and due to said practices needs to be shut down. This case is stricly vengeance wrapped up in favoritism. Despite the case at hand, Capcom continues to produce quality producta and sells them to consumers who want to buy them and still seek out merchandise/media made by this said company. In short your honor, the prosecution claims to have a mountain of evidence and witnesses to make their case, but we all know how mountains can be made out of mole hills.

Despite his contract stating he would remain the star of his own franchise, Capcom not only saw fit to give him a secondary role in the fourth instalment, but to find a loophole in the contract and have him completely replaced by someone with a similar name and background. Your witness, Herr Wright. I'd like to see you find a flaw in his testimony.
