Hard Reset's a PC exclusive shooter. And instead of further description, showing's better than telling, and TotalBiscuit shows it even better.

I just finished playing the demo. The weapon and upgrade system is really cool, and the cyberpunk setting combined with the best parts of old-school PC shooters and some of the good elements from more modern shooters results in something fantastic. Give the demo a try via Steam.

Be warned, this thing made my (admittedly crappy) PC chug, so let's hope yours is a ltitle better.
A desolate place, without any trace
It's only the cold wind I feel
It's me that I spite, as I stand up and fight
The only thing I know for real
There will be bloodshed!

Fantastic aesthetics, no iron sights, awesome setting, a proper healthbar with SLOWLY regenerating armour, very interractive levels with good design, a really cool upgrade system...

I'm not sure how long I can go, I'm running out of good things to say about this. Just that I'm left with a DO WANT NAO feeling.

Needs more non-linearity, but otherwise reminds me of Doom 3, which was a rather solid game on its own.

My only beef with Doom 3 was the ridiculous inability to wield a flashlight at the same time as the gun. True, it added more horror element to the game, but it's pretty stupid. What WAS a pretty good game, though, was Area 51 (no, not the light gun game from the 90's, this one was an FPS released back in 2005) and this game reminds me a lot of it for some reason.
