Lolol do you live in a homely little cliff-side cave and walk to the forest every morning to hunt for your meals with your bare hands?
If he had the choice, he would. :P

But in all seriousness, Polter does have a point, it is a colossal waste of money and technology.

That keyboard is basically a Swiss Army Knife. I have a SAK that I don't even bother using, and I wouldn't have it if it cost more than all of the implements that are put into it if they were separate. I can buy a computer with USB ports and an SD Card slot for the same price, have it run Crysis 2 with no lag, and have enough memory that there's no way I could possibly fill it with the utilities I use. Plus I can get a keyboard with extra USB slots for cheap. Even better, I can get an SD Card USB Extension for cheap as well. On top of this, my computer can have a CD Drive that reads Blu-ray, which the 16 grand keyboard obviously lacks.
A computer for $250 that can run Crysis 2?
I need to know where you buy your computers. XD

I'd probably only end up getting that keyboard as a novelty item. I mean, really. What the fuck is this? Are we really satisfied with keyboards with changeable displays? Bullshit. Where's my flying cars and jetpacks? And teleportation devices.

For teleportation devices to work, you would first have to die, and then be reassembled into basically a clone of yourself. :P
I think they're still working on that other stuff.

Wasn't this a plot point in one of the I, Robot stories? Or was it something about going into faster-than-light travel where you were effectively dead for the whole trip...

Honestly I don't remember what happened in irobot other than robot disobedience.
I heard about the teleportation thing from a friend that claimed to know a lot about the subject.

Ah, here we are, from the Wikipedia page on Escape!

Rather shortly, and after many strange visions by the crew, the ship does safely return to Hyper Base after two hyperspace jumps. Dr. Susan Calvin has, by this time, discovered what has happened: any hyperspace jump causes the crew of the ship to cease existing for a brief moment (effectively death), which is a violation of the First Law of Robotics (albeit temporarily), and this frightens the artificial intelligence of The Brain into irrational, childish behavior as a means of coping, and a means for ensuring the survival of the crew.

Fuck, I'm happy if my keyboard for my laptop comes with a separate number pad on the right side, because I'm one of those geeks who actually uses that.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

Oh my god, that numpad is so useful beyond belief. I don't know how people get by without it.

My new laptop has the numberpad thing, my old one didn't.
So now I keep misspelling words due to the lack of space and freedom of my hand. I guess I just like my keyboard CENTERED on this goddamned thing as opposed to all the way on the left... still not used to it after 3-4 months.
