Kinda didn't want to make a new topic for it, but it wouldn't really fit into some of the other threads.
5 died, 40 injured.

Geez... Looks like a metalocalypse concert. They said they were warned about a tornado, but they decided to keep going.

Wow that was...freaky. I think it falls on the head of the committee responsible for handling the venue, since it's their job to handle everything and make sure people are safe. If they were warned about a tornado and just carried on, then they've got to be the biggest idiots I've ever seen.

You'd think that the 500+ lives that were lost this year by tornadoes alone would wake someone up, but noooooooooo...they think tornadoes never hit big cities.

But my god, that film. I feel like I was watching something from a movie.

EDIT: After some further investigation, it was not a tornado that hit the stage, but a "gustnado," a slang term used to define localized vortexes created by the gust front of a thunderstorm. Very rarely are they deadly, and the only real harm they cause is wind damage to structures and the results there of, like we have seen. Typically, warnings to severe thunderstorms are not met with evacuations of public areas, outdoors or otherwise.

This does not excuse the flagrant disrespect people tend to have on the weather. For God's sake, people. Thunderstorms are dangerous, and not just because of lightning. Now we have five people dead for something that was perfectly avoidable. The apathy for the weather people have nowadays sickens me greatly, and makes me want to bash people's brains in to wash them out of the gene pool.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

Has the human race inbred and muddied their genepools so much that they've forgotten basic safety protocol?

I think when people are dealing with situations where stupidity is an option, they tend to veer toward choosing stupidity over rationality.
