Bullshit Patrol Posts: 1,177 Group: Guardian of the Realm Member #48 Joined: October 6, 2008	Infinities: The alternative universe or universes that can be created from what one person percieves canological in a set timeline. DC Universe Infinities is this: In what better universe to have our uniform epic heroes do battle in than the one that DC Comics came up with. Locations like Metropolis, Gotham City, the Amazons, and many other places will serve as the structured locations for our heroes to live, fight, and simply exist in this role play. Since this is an interest check, I'll simply leave you with these points before I delve us deeper into a story of my own creation... - This DC Universe Infinities game will not feature any of the DC Heroes unless anyone wants them in, and then, I might even have to switch things up for my own sick twisted pleasure (lol just kidding) - I want Super Heroes, Villans, and all sorts of characters with good descriptions, powers, abilities and histories. This is your chance to make any character without having to fit them into some sort of campaign setting that would clash with your character. Demons? Got em, Aliens? got them too! How about robots, animal bipeds like Sonic himself? Got those too! Literally anything is a go, although I would like to check your characters before we start play - This would all have a story, not just a rambling narrative like the MMO of the same title, and everything should be open-ended as far as attacks go, to allow us all the best experience possible. Sorry that this is so scatterbrained, but I'm really wanting to see if ANYONE would be interested in playing this game... Again, this is an interest check. I will flesh out things if an interest arises.

Part man...part beast...full psycho! Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	I don't think we actually HAVE any uniformed epic heroes here...not unless my Jizzman counts. XD In any case, I don't see why this is even necessary. We've established (and are continuously expanding at that) a good canon/universe here with both, real life AND fictional settings. Using a pre-existing media's own canon will not only clash with that, but seems completely pointless since it just holds back any creativity we can utilise to do our own stuff. So in short, unless this is like, a one shot, I don't really see much point to it. I suppose maybe using aspects from the DC universe might work (like having a Green Lantern fancharacter maybe, sorta, kinda, I dunno) but overall, I'm not sure how relevant or successful this would be here.

I think that we shouldn't restrain ourselves to a comic related world (especially since comic dudes keep dying then rezzing and that just pisses me off! XD). The canon and universe established here in the forum (I know it's a slow start but we can make it lift off! XD) is very large, with lots of potential to make epic narratives. So, I suggest that if you have a story in mind, do it here. You will find your aliens and demons and robots and animal bipeds. And if there's some sort of special "race" in mind, I would happily create a new character to fit your story. So, CREATE! SHARE! PLAY!
