Part man...part beast...full psycho! Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	Okay, I absolutely HATE this movie and couldn't stand ANYTHING about it. I couldn't understand why everyone and their mom thought it was some kind of masterpiece of film making when it felt more like utter garbage. It was like it was trying to be too damn artsy and still retain mainstream value at the same time. ...HOWEVER, this animated series actually looks...well interesting. I think that maybe, the movie's premise actually works better within this form of media. We'll just have to see.

I think it's appeal was it's awkwardness, which I didn't seem to understand until the third time I saw it. Some people tried showing it to me thought it was right up my alley because I like to purposely act weird and stupid. I think it might work better as a one-time live action thing, and it might loose the same appeal it had if it's not in a real environment. The cartoon world is too edgy these days, this style of social weirdness might seem too tame for what we have come to expect.
