It was already too late for me, because I had already paid out my Collector's Edition copy in full, and didn't feel like cancelling.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

As a renter, I feel like I'm somewhat doing my part.... But it'll be hard resisting getting the catwoman thing.

Let's just hope they have the sense to rectify this issue with maybe a bit of incentive. :P

While I throughly enjoyed Arkham Asylum, the only reason why I played it in the first place was because my mum bought it for herself. It'll be the same here; and I have no intention of supporting Warner for this level of bullshittery.

My wallet is focused elsewhere, video game-wise.

So it turns out that the content pass for this game? The one that lets you access the four catwoman levels? Turns out they forgot to package a ton of them, and some of the ones that they did package plain don't work.

As I mentioned on facebook, I won't be buying this game. It does look fantastic, but I refuse to support a game that takes away vital parts of the story (and yes, people are saying that these are integral to the overall plot) no matter if it would effect me or not. I know it wouldn't effect me because I buy my games new (well, I guess it might affect me according to the above :P) but goddamnit, I have principals I must adhere to! And this crosses a line with me.
Having played the game for a good bit already and played two Catwoman episodes, I can say with some confidence that her story has absolutely no vital importance to the overall plot. And there's apparently only four episodes for Catwoman at that, I've played two, and nothing of value was gained. She's just a fun character to play as.

http://kotaku.com/5851715/missing-catwoman-codes-impacted-half-a-percent-of-batman-arkham-city-gamers-heres-the-fix

I am calling in as soon as my rental comes in the mail, lol! I heard that someone got the code with no questions asked!

edit: After waiting 20 minutes on hold, I got through and they said they would send it to me, ahahaah!
But with all the missing codes, they said that they would have to email it to me later.

Just stuck it to the man :3

Hahaha, good one Havoc! :P

Yeah, there is a problem with developers punishing the consumer for buying used. What they should be doing is rewarding the user for buying new. Take Nintendo for example! They get me to buy their games new, even old ones if I can, because they give me points towards free things (and some of those are pretty cool nicknacks). Even old SNES games that I can easily get a ROM of I download from them, because I get those points. I think I heard Skyrim is coming with a paper map and a guide? Even that is a nice bonus.

Oh Gamestop.... you evil.... evil bastards. Who unintentionally ended up doing us a favor.

Anyway, I think we have our solution to these codes, call customer service and complain you didn't get one, lol.
Speaking of which I still haven't received. The same guy I spoke to yesterday and today said there is no estimated time. Yesterday he told me that the guy who was giving out codes has left for the day.... and that was at 3:00pm.

Catwoman certainly is rather fun to play as, particularly when using her whip to jump buildings. However, gameplay wise, it's virtually the same as Batman. No really biggy.

Only took 2 days to beat.
But 50% complete with all the other quests.

Pretty good game, feels like the old but slightly improved and in an open world.

Game Informer gave it a perfect 10. That's the first game I've ever seen get that score from them.

Good Game

Hex: Yes, you've read the book, you've seen the film - now avoid the game like the plague lest your memory of Harry Potter's epic conclusion be tainted by what can only be described as a short, half-arsed cover-shooter that's boring beyond belief.

Bajo: ...It's shit.
