Unfortunately, I have no direct link or source. I just found this while surfing random sites, so I'm not sure if this is legit or not. Remain fully skeptical if you feel the need to. I certainly am.

EDIT: Scroll down for the new delicious pastry-filled info :3

Throw in Ren and Stimpy, and I may cum.

Seriously, if this is true... holy shit. But uh... I kinda doubt it.
There's a bunch of stupid kids out there who love their crappy live action teen shows, ratings are probably slightly lower.

Doesn't make much sense since Doug went to Disney, so unless the show's creator thought Nick did a better job on his show, and he wasn't tied down by licenses and ownership problems, this picture doesn't make much sense. Also, why Rugrats, weren't they "All Grown Up" now? See, there's a couple of inconsistencies that don't really add up, but then again, it could just be them going back to basics...maybe.

I did some Google magic and found a source on this:

http://www.6theory.com/forum/index.php/top...c-90s-cartoons/

If this is true, then it looks like Nick's finally turning around. Aside from this, there's still that purportedly "darker" TMNT show (and movies) that they claimed they'd be doing sometime in the near future. In all honesty, it's not really about old shows coming back (although I do love my Angry Beavers), but more about them finally getting back to making the channel about teens. Nick was always a teen channel, most of the shows and cartoons they aired were aimed at adolecents and young adults and generally had themes involving the coming of age (aside from all the slapstick stuff). Seriously, I have no freakin' clue what the appeal of shows like Spongebob are, it just seemed like a very retarded version of The Snorks. Yet I can't blink without seeing some form of Spongebob paraphanellia smacking me in the face.

Anyway, much like Havoc, I do hope this is true. Hopefully this won't just be about cartoons though, as Nick's old sitcoms were pretty fun.

There will be hell to pay if I see any of these turned into a shitty fucking flashtoon. It's bad enough CN airs these already.

Dude, the old ones are great. You should at least see "Sailor Mouth" or "Chocolate with Nuts". Also, whatever the episode was where they have to hide the health inspector's dead body.

FAAAAAAAAAAKE

The only source of news is a high school paper. Furthermore, they don't even have the rights to Doug anymore.

Sup guys, I decided to revive this topic because it's pertinent to something I found:

While it's not a revival of old shows through newly produced episodes, it's still an entire block airing 90's Nick. I'm actually jealous of all of you because I can't cash in on this. Have fun everyone. :D

I heard about it happening again recently when I changed the channel to Nickelodeon.
I think it might've been for either only one day.. or one week.. I don't remember. I'll probably end up missing it, since I rarely change the station to it anymore.

Looks like it's permanent to me.

The '90s Are All That is a programming block that airs on TeenNick. The block shows requested Nickelodeon shows from the 1990s, airing in a two-hour block running Tuesdays through Saturdays from 12 am to 2 am, with an encore 2 to 4 am.[2][1] The block derives its name and logo from All That, a popular sketch comedy series that ran on Nickelodeon from 1994 to 2005.

The creation of the block, which debuted the night of July 25, 2011 (early July 26), was inspired by a large amount of interest in classic Nickelodeon series by users of social media outlets such as Facebook.[3] Response to the debut was very positive; hash tags pertaining to the block became trending topics on Twitter[4] and the Nielsen Ratings for TeenNick on the debut night increased to between eight and 60 times the ratings TeenNick received in previous weeks, beating numerous higher-profile basic cable programs in the same time slot, despite TeenNick's reduced availability.[5]

Some of the animated programming that is scheduled to be included in the block in the future is already airing in overnight marathons on sister network Nicktoons, a practice that began in summer 2010. The Nicktoons marathons are scheduled to continue alongside The '90s Are All That for the immediate future.

So it's already happened? Is it only on a specific day?
Because all on see on the tv guide is Spongebob / icarly / Spongebob / icarly / Spongebob / icarly / Spongebob / icarly /.

"was inspired by a large amount of interest in classic Nickelodeon series by users of social media outlets such as Facebook.[3] Response to the debut was very positive"

I think any 20+ year old could've told them that the 90's were better than the crap they have on today.
