EDIT: If we haven't already talked about this, Game Freak's teasing a new game. The text reads as follows: "A classic game that's played all over the world will be reborn in a surprising collaboration." I just stole the translation from IGN, so have a source.

A lot of speculation is something Harvest Moon-ish, since apparently the shining silhouette resembles the offical art for the horses in the series.

That’s the price you have to pay if you’re a AAA dev and like the Ubisoft CEO said: don’t expect any AAA publishers to be creating new IPs unless you can create sequels out of them.

That is the biggest problem with Square-Enix: the Executives at HQ make plans that are unrealistic to the studios that they own, and when the studios don’t meet the forecasts, they go on the chopping block.

Square needs to lower their crazy forecasts, and focus on the strengths of their studios instead of developing games with Über-graphics, and little substance, that take over 8 years to make.

Maybe focus on cutting the graphics budget by 30%, and focus on the gaming experience. that would allow you to release more games at a lower cost.
