There's plenty of jackoffs in the movement just like in every movement (try looking at 'roboanna' from reddit sometime). But the more I see of anti SRS/SJW blogs and posters, the more it seems like a lot of privileged people who don't like being called on their shit, or that believe that you have to be polite and kind no matter what, or you're one of the 'crazy ones', the same kind of person who would use 'feminazi' in earnest.

On the panel: I think it wasn't meant to offend anyone, I've seen it where video games are put under a microscope more so than movies or books (or in some cases discussions in other mediums occurred in the mid-90s/00's) because "THEY'RE INTERACTIVE" and then the fans and gamers drag it out in knock out style fashion because they feel the incessant need to always be right/need to shoot hate out of every orifice. Something I do thing needs to be studied and handled, shit's not healthy. It was just worded extremely poorly. Then he did his thing on twitter and was a douche about it. That I don't like at all, although I'd like to see what they were saying to him, see who escalated first, but there is no excuse for that behavior.

Yes and no....some of the best optimizations for gaming are on the newest version of the OS, which many don't have access due to fragmentation.
