People who pirate Game Dev Tycoon have their ingame games fail due to piracy. As if this wasn't hilariously meta enough, there are actually people out there that are bawwwwing about how piracy is ruining their business to the extent that it's impossible to make a profit. This is coming from people who pirated the game in of itself. |

I hope to fuck it lasts for over 50 episodes per game entry and explains the fuck out of everything for each and every character in a coherent and organised way that doesn't give me a headache. I also hope that it succeeds and prompts a Guilty Gear animu series, done in the same way. |

Well, it's good that he's being brought to justice, so to speak, though I'm disappointed that the issue of him releasing sensitive information behind the head honcho's back was brought up, without mentioning anything about the totally jackass, gender defaming comments the guy made as well. Either way, I hope he gets what he deserves. |

While all in all, it didn't really affect my interest in Destructoid because he's just one guy and doesn't share every individual editor's opinion, I was pretty appalled by the support, patronising and coddling I saw on his Twitter from his followers. I'm not sure if said followers were real life friends or fans from Destructoid, but it's pretty disturbing how easy it was for everyone to tell him that it was okay and that he did nothing wrong. |

Yeah, you go to the fourms or Neogaf or heaven forbid reddit it's full of dipshits who claim allistar's actions were just because she did wrong. Everyone knows you do one thing wrong and then it's carte blanche to do anything you want to them! Honestly I wasn't worried about Distructoid tho~ They've been honestly pretty great about LGBT representation, especially trans people. Most publications still pretend we don't exist, let alone publish articles about/from our perspective and be respectful about it :v |

It's like I've always said; Destructoid has managed to remain the only bit of gaming/geek related journalism on the internet that still being handled by gamers/geeks and isn't bogged down by bureaucracy and politics. Hell, just the other day the main dude posted an article about how DToid is one of the last places on the net that doesn't charge its members and is kind of sinking into financial decline because people use adblockers and was asking the community and fanbase on ideas on how to help out. |

So, there's a sequel to Robot Unicorn Attack on iOS now, if you guys weren't aware (or even care about the game). Shit's insane. Video's a review from Good Game, which now has a YouTube channel of its own. No idea if the videos are region locked, though. |

Yeah, saw it posted on Facebook a week or so back. So many more options and modes, also the two songs from the first game and the Heavy Metal version are available to purchase after unlocking them. |

Physical copies of Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D will have no gameplay instruction manuals whatsoever, not even the "quick guides" that started showing up back when New Super Mario Bros. Wii came out. Instead, all you get is a slip of paper telling you how to access the game manual that is built into the Game Card. So far, this only affects 3DS software published by Nintendo, as some third-party 3DS games still ship with full manuals. Expect every Wii U game from now on to have a similar leaflet, though, as none of them have come with a manual, as far as I'm aware. EDIT: Not important. Just interesting. You know, I'm kind of torn as of late when it comes to game manuals. On the one hand, I miss the time when games like Homeworld have these huge, book manuals that not only contain all the important details you need to know about the game and how to play it, but context for the game's story that explains who you're playing as, who you're going up against, and how all that came to be. On the other hand, game manuals are getting more and more irrelevant as in-game tutorials basically do everything a game manual does, and that's assuming you even need those tutorials to begin with since quite a few games are pretty simple to figure out. |
