 They have 2 sources on it and state it's a rumor, so they're not that stupid... just on their redesign.
If it is true though, they're shooting themselves in the foot.

It's bad enough they charge $100 for a wireless adapter and $60 a year to play online... you could buy another system (Wii price I guess) with the money to get the fucking thing online today. This is why I stopped playing on it.

By they I meant MS. I apologize. Kotaku (and Gawker Media as a whole) can be a little sketchy on sources but if they express confidence I always lean towards trusting them
