The Winds of Change Posts: 1,254 Group: Elite Member #11 Joined: March 7, 2007	I think what it really means is that if you unlock secret items and characters and stages, or if you level up a character, you can't revert the game to factory defaults. So you'll always have access to unlocked content and your characters will always be leveled up after you level them. Which in all honestly is silly to not allow someone to start it from scratch if they wanted to, especially for like "Low Level Speedrun" players and such.

I do a lot of business with GameStop, and if they can give me $5 for Sonic Heroes, $6 for a new game at the start says a fucking lot. $6 for a game hot off the market to start with is terrible, especially for titles as big as Resident Evil. $10 is more like it. The reason it's so low is because there's little faith that there will be resales because of Capcom's douchebaggery.

Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	Developers want to pass a bill that gives them full control over streaming videos of games; this means that anyone who does video reviews, walkthroughs or Let's Plays has to ask permission from said developers to use any gameplay footage or pay royalties to do so. Microsoft claims the 360 is halfway through it's lifecycle...so why are they making a new console? They're also giving the government permission to tap into Skype conversations. That is some serious bullshit guys. Sony claims it was hacked because they wanted to protect their IP. Har har, what a joke. More talk about Resident Evil bullshit, Operation Rainfall, etc. Also, talk about fighting games and how they've changed based on how people play them now. In more recent news: Jack Thompson is back, trying to fight the industry...the freak. He gets his ass owned on multiple comments he makes, even with Event playing Devil's Advocate. David Jaffe gets exposed as childish, immature, ignorant and a coward. Cacpom had to apologise for the Resident Evil issue because there was such a large backlash and people actually put their foot down and did not buy their product. PSN Pass is coming and fucking over the industry even more. Developers claim they're doing it because they're hurting for money due to used games, but it's all bullshit. Gamers are doing nothing but taking it up the ass. Companies are silencing gamers and dividing them up so that the truth doesn't come out. More talk on the bill that wants to control videogame streaming. It will encompass any form of videogame streaming, like I said above. Capcom initiates a merger which will only allow streaming of Capcom games within Capcom controlled space. Know what that means? No bad reviews for Capcom games because they're all controlled. PS4 is coming soon and will have Kinect controls....yeah, not a pretty sight. Age of Conan goes free to play and WoW goes free to play up to level 20. Nintendo is being sued for 3DS tech
