On that note, their Xbox Classics lineup can't be browsed to at all on the Marketplace anymore. I could not find it just by browsing through the game selection. You have to search for each game individually. |

Charles Martinet appeared on an Australian news show when there was a sort of scare at the airport in Melbourne a few days ago. Charles actually commented on the YouTube video. The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses orchestral performance tour is finally making its way to Australia early next year :3 |

Since this is both, Wii U and 3DS related, I'll just post it here: http://mynintendonews.com/2012/10/24/wii-u-will-be-sold-at-a-loss/ That REALLY blows, I figured that, after the price drop, the 3DS would be selling like hotcakes, especially since practically no one's buying the Vita. Maybe people are still invested in the previous gen of handhelds, but yeah, sucks to hear about this. |

Let's hope that doesn't start a trend for Ninty. Unlike Sony and Microsoft virtually all of their money is made in videogames, and they don't have other departments to draw from if this comes back to bite them in the ass. Selling entirely for profit is something I was convinced was a necessary evil on Ninty's part. As far as 3DS sales are concerned, is five point four percent down from expectations really that bad? Of course, if they wanted even more hardware sales they should be telling Game Freak to get off their asses and stop releasing Pokemon games for the previous gen already. I don't own a PS3, but I figured this was stupid enough to post. Apparently right now all EU PS3 owners have an annoying Singstar link shoved straight onto their XMB (which I guess is the opening menu... right?). It's a link to download the game for free, but you can't get rid of the link until you've downloaded it. Even if you already owned the game beforehand. Oh yeah, and that whole "free" deal? Good luck trying to enjoy that without a microphone. Also, most of the songs are gone and you have to pay extra for them. And the ones already there are edited to be much shorter. Here, have some PR bullshit. There's more backlash in the comments if you care. So what they've done is released a glorified demo, toted around the fact that a peripheral-based game is "free" before butchering most of the content from it, then shoved an unremovable link to it in the startup screen in place of the trophy icon as if they're doing PS3 gamers some kind of favour.  Nice. Great job, Sony. |

Which is exactly what I've been doing xD I just use MNN as a waypoint, since not only are the commenters complete and utter retards, the main poster, "sickr"' tends to make stupid assumptions that aren't even mentioned in the source article. Dude does make it convenient to find the news, even if it does make me mentally facepalm every time I see him post on Twitter. So I was curious about a patch update for LittleBigPlanet on the Vita and hit up Wikipedia for info. One thing led to another and I found myself looking through pages on the Ape Escape series. I complained back on the All-Stars Battle Royale topic about the PSP port of the first game and how the main character's rival's name was Jake instead of Buzz (among other things) and it turns out that for the majority of the games, the character names and even the voice actors differed by region. On a much more infuriating level, Sony Japan also ended up releasing the original PSone game on the PlayStation Store back in 2007, about the same time that Sony America put up Spyro 1. Ape Escape still remains a Japan exclusive to this date. And Sony still hasn't brought the Spyro games to Europe. Which is fucking bullshit on both accounts. Also, turns out that, not counting cameo appearances, the Ape Escape series has abut 14 games in total, four of which never made it out of Japan. All that aside, I can't stop laughing at how Hikaru was named Jimmy in the American version of Ape Escape 2. And how Dan Green was picked to voice Kakeru/Spike in the same game. Kinda makes me glad how the European versions of 2 and 3 left the names as their Japanese originals and just recast the characters from the US choices. EDIT: Grand Theft Auto V could be released by next Autumn. No news on a possible Wii U version. Edited by Luffy Foxtrot, Oct 30 2012, 08:16 PM.
