Everyone said the same thing when the guy posted the first images of this project; there's just too much STUFF, it's distracting, it's an eyesore, it's obstructive and it's unnecessary. If you want to show off your leet videogame making skills, there are other ways to do so. =/

And if the presentation of Green Hill Zone was enough, it showed that Sonic Team knows what its doing in reconstructing the old classic. Heck, even the modern Sonic version is pretty awesome, even though it's very different.

I wonder what exactly it took for them to finally reach that conclusion. Also, Valve wanting to reward people with free games based on popularity...who the hell thought this was a smart idea like, at all? Seriously, is Valve run by the 13 year olds who spend all their time online? Hey look, the Online Pass thing is biting developers in the ass...who'd have known? Also, the developers of a mediocre and generic FPS are bashing a game as innovative and groundbreaking as LA Noir. This market has really gone to the dogs. Can't help laughing my ass off at Square attempting to create not only one new MMO, but three.

Dear god, I am fucking scared now. On a more positive note, Mass Effect 3 may have four player co-op mode. I'd love to sink my teeth into that.

US Supreme Court wants to ban violent games, a mother beats her child to death because his Wiimote broke the TV and developers are begging gamers to help support them. More bullshit like, get this, preordering DLC is coming to the table. Yeah, you read that right, preordering fucking DLC, it's almost hilarious. In more favourable news, it looks like Guitarsmith is gonna be pretty cool; an actual game that teaches you how to play guitar using a real guitar. City of Heroes and TF2 are now fully free to play, whereas DCUO is hurting even more.

Posts: 17,366 Group: All Powerful Deity Member #1 Joined: December 30, 2005	As some of you may have noticed, I made a post in the topics for Xenoblade, The Last Story and Pandora's Tower topics (as well as Facebook) about a letter campaign that's in motion to get Nintendo to take notice of the fans and release these games in the US. This campaign has gotten immense coverage from all the big online journalist sites, like Kotaku, Destructoid and even Game Informer. In fact, the scope of this campaign is so big, that not only has it spread across Twitter and Facebook, but even has it's own Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Rainfall The campaign is supported by devs at both, Mistwalker and Monolith, the developers behind The Last Story and Xenoblade respectively. This campaign shows that when gamers really put their mind to something, they can do it. Now, whether this succeeds or not it'll actually put so many things into perspective, such as whether developers really listen to the fans, how receptive Nintendo is to something like this and whether putting effort into this is a lost cause or not. For the record, while the campaign started off on IGN, it actually has it's own Blogspot page that I just found: http://oprainfall.blogspot.com/

Plus it's a multiplayer/minigame game anyway, so most people would finish everything within a short space of time. I have no idea why they bothered releasing it as a standalone and are charging full price for it anyway. Some interesting developments can be found here: http://wii.ign.com/articles/117/1179120p1.html Quote: Updated 6/27/11: The Amazon.com pre-order campaign for Xenoblade/Monado resulted in the game becoming #1 on the website's pre-order list. Additionally, Nintendo has informed me that it is aware of the "Missing Wii Games"/Operation Rainfall movement and that it will have a statement on the matter. At the moment I don't have definitive word on when that statement will arrive. That update seems to indicate Nintedo plans to do something about this huge movement.
