Sure, go ahead.

Plus, I heard about the BioWare employee. As far as I remember, he was reprimanded and BioWare issued a former apology.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

Now that you pointed it out, no you're not. XD

Alright, so in light of the broadness of the topic, I'd like to bring to light a very inherent problem with the Wii and that is it's lack of solid third party support. Now this issue is pretty big and blame is continuously shifted around from Nintendo to the consumers to the Wii's lack of proper hardware. The other day a good friend linked me to a couple of articles that really put this all in perspective:

The Third Party Wall of Shame

It really shows just how bad the Wii has it and the majority of the blame falls on the head of third party developers. Just like the video above about Treyarch blaming consumers for lack of innovation, it's essentially an expanded view of it. This article here shows a really good mindset developers SHOULD follow when making games for the Wii:

A Guide for Third Party Developers on Nintendo Consoles

Too little too late unfortunately. Developers have had five years to get their shit together and produce worthwhile stuff for the Wii. What did they do instead? Alienate their audience, lose the trust of loyal customers and seal their own fate with plenty of lost sales due to a complete lack of common sense. Notice how the majority of the crap comes from Western developers, while Japanese developers look like they just didn't even BOTHER at all.

Hahaha, oh Activision, you crazy douchebags you. It's funny how trying to convince people you're not bad just implicates you even more:

I still find it a shame that Activision have sunk so low now. Just throwin' that out there.

Hey guys, guess how badly developers are starting to ride people:

Yeah, that bad. Terrible DRM policies on DOWNLOADABLE CONSOLE GAMES, online passes and exclusive DLC content available only to NEW buyers (ergo, screwing over people getting it second hand) and bullshit online subscription services for garbage EA stuff. The industry is hurting it's consumers by milking the fact that most gaming today depends on being online to play. It is NUTS I tell you, there's just so much wrong with what developers are doing to the consumers, the FANS that shouldn't fly if people took a stand against it.

As an aside, Sega also gave out a cease and dessist to a bunch of guys who did a remake of Streets of Rage. As if Square's cease and dessists of any potential remakes/interquels of Chrono Trigger weren't bad enough, we get this; the revival dead franchise that Sega has no interest in reimbursing being smacked down. That's not fair Sega, it's not fair stabbing loyal fans who enjoyed something you did back when you had more innovation in the face...because of some BS excuse like a release schedule.

Also, some more talk about Anonymous vs Sony, etc. you guys get the idea.

It's too little-too late for Sega's CaD order on Streets of Rage: Remake, though. It was already released onto the internet, and as everyone here should be aware, once something goes up on the internet, it stays on the internet from now until the sun swallows the earth. I was able to get a copy on megaupload after Sega dropped the hammer.

It's complete BS considering the Sonic romhacking/fangame community is so huge and has been flourishing for almost a decade now. Yet when some people take the initiative on something less popular, oh no, it's a freakin' crime against humanity.

Didn't that crappy 2.5d remake of Sonic 2 that was made after fans threw a bitchfit over Sonic 4 get a cease and disorder, as well?

You mean Sonic 1 Megamix? No, that died because of drama between the creators as well as between the creators and the community.

Oh right, the clusterfuck 2.5D one. I figured it was just one guy's pet project, in all honesty, I never really heard much in the way of development concerning it.

[sigh.] I wish fans knew more about how color affects the ability to see. There is way too much blue in that video for me. Turn down the saturation, then we'll talk.
