FIFA 16 and Just Cause 3 still haven't been cracked by pirates. Top crackers of the Chinese site 3DM are now guessing that DRM will be (more or less) completely uncrackable in just two years. |

I'm more inclined to believe pirates haven't cracked FIFA 16 yet simply because they can play FIFA 15 for a virtually identical experience.  In all seriousness though, as long as they don't punish paying customers in the process I'm kinda indifferent as to how effective the DRM actually is. I haven't heard anything about Denuvo until now, so I honestly welcome them finally starting to get the whole fucking point of these measures. |

I heard about that earlier and still don't know what to make of it. Most companies would only do that to patent troll, but Sony isn't usually known to do stuff like that - most of their fuckups are down to naievete and poor security, so I feel like they must've tried using it as a slogan for something (eg: "Wii would like to play") without somehow realizing a term already existed for it. Even besides that I'm not convinced it would've made much impact on LPers - it's just a name, so they would've picked a new one at some point, like Longplay, or Fuck You Sony I'll Do What I Want. |

I watched someone stream it earlier. While it's kinda interesting to see Romero do something on the original Doom after so long, frankly I'm convinced he's lost his touch with it - from what I saw it was pretty repetitive and maze-y. The cynical part of me wonders if it's just a publicity stunt for the Doom reboot. |
