 Mario 2 and 3 are way better old school games. But I guess they want the originals. I don't think I can really agree with WOW.... but then again I've never played it. It feels out of place in this list.

 WoW basically established the MMORPG genre so much that practically every game released after tries to imitate it one way or another. It's as important to gaming as say, Resident Evil is for survival horror games.

If you actually look at the criteria, you'll see that Sonic has no place on that initial list, WoW has every right to it, and Mario 2/3 should not be.

I fucking hate WoW and how it's stagnated the mmo industry for so many years, but it deserves its spot there.

 Arc System Works bought out the rights to Double Dragon and Kunio-Kun/River City Ransom. I see good things for the future of these franchises.

It's incredibly rare. They have a bunch of quirky sports titles for digital download on Nintendo consoles, but the only really significant non-fighting game they've made is Hard Corps Uprising, which they developed for Konami as part of the Contra universe's spinoff series.
