I've always said that yearly Call of Duty's would get old.

I only play CoD for the single player. I'm not interested in the multiplayer in the least.
This; why are games being sold and bought solely for their multiplayer? I get it, it's supposed to be good, but that shouldn't mean the game's campaign gets shafted and if that's the case, then you're just paying for one fraction of the full product. If I wanted a more rewarding multiplayer experience, I'd play something like TF2 for being exclusively dedicated to multiplayer and not pretending to be deep or anything with some tacked on single player campaign. That's not to say that a game with a single player campaign shouldn't get a second look at the multiplayer, but if the campaign's flawed, chances are, so's the multiplayer, which is pretty much the case for Call of Duty. You brought up Goldeneye though, which has both, a very good (and challenging) single player campaign and a fantastic multiplayer setup. More people should be playing that instead (talking about the Wii version, not the gimped "HD herpaderp" crap).

And I'm just as surprised about the low scores, though again, why is Metacritic suddenly supposed to be a legitimate source of information? I get it, the jocktards can't buy a game until some pretentious journalist on some half baked site gives said game good scores, but Metacritic's user scores are far beyond anything legitimately accurate. Then again, stranger things have happened, but hey, maybe people are finally realising that the market's sick of this oversaturated tripe.

I like it when people use the word "gay" in any context other than a homosexual one - it only proves that they have the maturity of a five year old, as if their obsession with shooters didn't already do a good job of pointing that out. It's also pretty amusing that he pointed out Skyrim considering the fact that, y'know, it's set in the bloody medival era and doesn't even have muskets, let alone generic modern firearms.

But just for fun, let's play around with his logic a bit.

game - gun = gay
game + gun = -gay
game + gun + Arem = ???

Yeah I'd give the game no more than 3/10, and that's being kind.

Milking the dead crack-laced cow.

I don't think rating a game based on its over saturation is entirely fair.
Honestly I kinda enjoy Black Ops more than this (probably just need to get used to it) , but it's not a bad game and doesn't deserve that low of scores.

Black Ops is one of the exceptions, thanks to a different method of storytelling, despite it really being a giant flashback.

Time to weigh in. Here's a conversation I had with my clan leader on APB: Reloaded.

I don't know, if the word isn't used frequently and used the right way... it seems fine to me.
For example...

On the subject of that MW3 game on ebay awhile ago....
