Considering how infamous he was, it's mindboggling how he got any kind of approval for his movie adaptations. And I think we're honestly at the point where we don't need film adaptations of videogames anymore because they've already become so film-like on their own. Sure, an animated series or movie wouldn't hurt here or there, but we honestly don't need to see a live action Sonic, or Mario, or whatever. Just let gamers live their epic fantasies immersed in the worlds the games create, because film is a medium that takes you out of that mental state. I'd agree with you but it's fucking SEGA, they haven't made a good game in a while. A-FUCKING-HEM I said good game. You are now my sworn enemy. Meet me by the flagpole at 3. I'll see you. You won't see me. Sniper rifles and invisiwatches are considered bad form in duels.

This is a rare opportunity to rebuild, so I would love some feedback on video games to get to rebuild. I'm already aware of the Darksiders games, so that's fine. I'm also planning on getting an Xbox One, as I have said before, so that's open as well. I know this thread is more about news of gaming, but I figured that here's a good place to get some good recommendations in light of these conversations.

And if you're getting an Xbox One, best place to start after Inquisition is Sunset Overdrive. Other than that, the Wii U is host to plenty of shit; Hyrule Warriors, Wind Waker HD, dem Marios, dat Smash, etc.

And I'm sure Enzan wouldn't say no to a new play buddy in Destiny. But yea, definitely get Sunset Overdrive. I already have a copy of that aside for whenever I get an Xbox One (if I end up buying it myself, it'll only be after more worthwhile exclusives release, like PlatinumGames' new game. Halo 5 doesn't count.)

I don't know why, but it reminds me of that one awesome console that was a small TV screen with a joystick and the games came with a clear, plastic sheet that you put over the screen to simulate your HUD and reticule. Perhaps they plan something similar to that concept?

If there's anywhere on the system that by some chance could actually benefit from some arbitary fucking holes, it's exactly where the button arrangements would go - so people can plug and unplug control arrangements of their own choosing. Not only would this enable instant lefty support for pretty much every game imaginable (and anyone who's played Kid Icarus knows how merciless Nintendo is with lefties), it would essentially enable certain developers to invent their own control scheme to go with their games, on the offchance that the standard one won't work as well. Kinda like the peripheral Activision made for Guitar Hero World Tour, only not quite as dumb:
