That's assuming that Crash died in the first place. The 'Crash of the Titans' series have been much more successful than that of 'The Legend of Spyro'.

And just how long ago was Crash: Mind Over Mutant released?

 I liked the first couple of games, then they started to suck. Crash lasted a bit longer: he peaked at his third game, then there was that miserable Mario Party rip-off, and the rest is history.

 Don't you DARE bad mouth Crash Bash, it's probably THE BEST party game in existance. Also, to me, Spyro died after the third game. The only good games were the PS1 titles, that's about it. I guess Crash is in pretty much the same boat, although he had a party game and kart racer to add to his repertoir. Everything after the PS1 is just a vomitous blur.

First off...yeah, Sonic Shuffle sucked.

Second off, Rock Band is better, like Psy said. That was the series that introduced the concept of a whole-band experience (lead guitar, bass, drums, and Cagey butchering the lyrics to Electric Eye). Actibadlyneedsglasses just ripped them off like Sony ripped off the Wiimote.

 Do you guys want to know why Rock Band is better? Because Harmonix, the developers of Rock Band were the ones who originally developed the first two Guitar Hero games. Once they decided to move to EA and work on a much bigger and more innovative project, Actischmucks decided they still wanted to cash in on that shit, so as usual, they set up one of their generic in-house developers to work on it instead.

 In addition to decent Spyro games, the ones on the GBA are pretty good. However, they're so much alike is that when you beat one, you've beaten all the other GBA titles. :P

I haven't played the Legend of Spyro games, although always wanted to give a try to Dawn of the Dragon, despite it being the last one.

The Main Event starts off this video calling out insensitive gamers about the issues in Japan. He then proceeds to tear into Team Ninja's abysmal marketing attitude towards Platinum Games, as well as mentioning how an employee of Bioware was caught raising the score of Dragon Age II on Metacritic to promote their product. EA also backs this up and bans anyone who even remotely disagrees with their opinion.

The real meat here is about Activision, Treyarch in particular (which is at around the 16:05 mark). Some douche at Treyarch claims gamers are to blame for the lack of innovation in games today. Let me tell you, there is a lot of qualtiy, grade A bullshit going on with Activision and you can see A LOT just from this video (with links in the info bar). If ANYONE had any doubts about how corporate works at Activision, if anyone ever believed Kotick was just a regular businessman who wanted to make money and was just doing the best he could, well, it looks like there's a lot more to it than that. When people say Activision is the devil of the industry, after hearing/reading some of this stuff, I can agree so much on it.

In all honesty, while I agree that gamers will have some impact on the industry in the way of innovation, this is a bit much. Yeah, churning out the same FPS over and over again is good for business because there are sheeple who will keep buying them, but that's just not how a business works. Then you go and blame the consumers for that, what the hell? Guys, I'm telling you, we WILL have another videogame crash and it IS coming because of the shit in this video (not just Activision).

Damn Arem, this entire video's full of stuff you can dig your teeth into. :P
