Preordering exists in the first place because retail supply didn't meet demand (and even that considered most of the big hitters have learnt from that and sent out huge amounts of stock in advance) - the concept of "supply" doesn't exist in the digital medium unless the place you buy it from suddenly disappears, and that's just not going to happen within launch week in any circumstance. All they want is your money in advance before you've had a chance to regret a purchace.
