I never could sit through them, myself. I just get the whole "everything about gaming today sucks a wall of dicks" hipster gamer vibe from it. This new episode only reinforces that vibe.
There's nothing in any of them about "everything about gaming today sucks a wall of dicks", they're (or were) great analyses on what made certain games great sequels, as well as how some fell short. In his Megaman episode, he goes into great detail describing how Megaman X is essentially, the one true sequel to the original Megaman, because it uses the same basic core elements and builds on top of them, adding tons of features that compliment the original. His Castlevania episode talks about why the second game fell short and what could've been done instead to improve on it.

Then he released this, essentially talking about how Zelda is awesome, how A Link to the Past is a masterpiece, but then backtracking and saying it sucks because it holds your hand and doesn't let you explore, then backtracking again and saying it's amazing because Ocarina of Time is garbage and just does everything shit because 3D hurdurdur combat exploration hurdurdur I suck at videogames because I have no patience and Skyward Sword is a horrible hurdurdur.

DUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
