Honestly though, I think it could easily sell around that much WORLDWIDE, like they said. Zelda's a no brainer, and the Warriors games, while niche, sell enough to get multiple versions of the same game pumped out regularly. There are people who buy about two Warriors games on a yearly basis, so it's not a stretch.

 Sixteen staff members at Rare have supposedly been sacked. Including Chris Sutherland, Lead Programmer for Battletoads and Gavin Price, who had been with Rare for 15 years.

And Tom Clancy's The Division has been delayed to 2015. Because apparently all of Ubisoft's cooler games need to be delayed at least 50 times.

 I would say it fucking serves Rare right for making Kinect shovelware and squatting on the remainder of its IPs, but I do have to ask whether that was Microsoft's initiative or their own. It certaintly wouldn't be the first time MS has fucked things up for them and made them pay the price for it.

And as much as it probably seems OOC for me, I'm actually with Psych on the Hyrule Warriors thing. WiiU's a really unstable platform for 3rd parties and unproven IPs, but even with its low install base a Zelda game of all things is bound to break a million easy. The brand's got some real staying power, and users are really hurting for some non-platforming games right now.
