I care. =< The Wolfenstein thing seems more like they made NPCs needlessly slow-moving than them being just plain dumb. Besides that they didn't really act anything unlike what I'd expect. Not that I plan on getting the game anyway - it seems strange to admit that the original, the one that doesn't even have a fucking Y axis, still manages to beat the shit out of all attempts to reboot it. I guess there's not a whole lot left to explore when the first game literally invoked Godwin's Law and let you kill Hitler right there and then. |

Really? You haven't gotten tired of the DBZ rehashes they throw at us on a near yearly basis? I dunno, I've kinda lost hope for anything new or innovative they could possibly add to the franchise, aside from maybe a REAL character creator amd a completely new story mode. At this point, I think the franchise should switch to a different genre, it's done the fighting game thing to death and, in my opinion, both Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 3 were probably the high points for each type of fighter they've done. As for Wolfenstein, seriously, how hard could it possibly be to make a reboot/revamp/remake? Hell, BloodRayne did a better job, it seems. |

Who the fuck said anything about rehashes? The gameplay was already more or less conceptually perfect around Raging Blast - all I really ask is for a better reason to see it through again besides the storylines we've already seen. Not unlike what Ultimate Tenkaichi did, minus the bullshit QTE gameplay changes. I don't think that's asking much, even if Akira Toriyama has become a lazy sack of shit. If we're talking about alternate gameplay styles, though, the only thing that comes to mind is to just go all out Anarchy Reigns on it and enact 16 player free for alls and shit. Nothing else really seems to gel with DBZ to be honest. |

More or less what BL said about DBZ. Hell, as I mentioned in the Now Playing thread, Battle of Z is probably my favourite game in the series thus far just for the fact that there are more than two players on the field at once now. Upping it to Anarchy Reigns levels (still haven't played that online, mind D:) can only make it better. So long as they make the fields bigger. It might just be because of the 4v4 nature, but the stages in BoZ feel way smaller compared to previous games. |
