The Wii U MIGHT end up dying, MIGHT, but you know what? I have a 30 game library right now comprised completely of single player experiences that could be replayed to my heart's content whenever I choose to do so. Every console dies, but that doesn't mean that what you had on that console is gone. So sorry for your loss Mr. Spend $50 on a Warcraft card game, but you're a fucking idiot.

Factor in eShop purchases and you have more than enough going for the console, if you ask me. Everyone's bitching because there isn't some AAA online multiplayer deathmatch machine to tide the jocks over, even though your regularly scheduled Call of Duty was released and saw relatively good success when it did.

Also to be fair, being the exact opposite of what everyone else does doesn't mean your lineup is any more diverse, just different - and for all the kid-friendly platformers and shit they're going through right now there's a severe lack of Metroid or FZero or friggin' Eternal Darkness that could easily justify the system to people who just aren't into that kind of thing. Foolishly chasing the coat-tails of CoD's success is one thing, but for fuck's sake if you want the system to sell at all you need to focus on more than one niche. That all being said, I have genuine respect for what Nintendo's doing right now - it's never been about the money to them, they just wanna make games. That they're just soldiering on through this like it's another day in the life speaks the kind of modesty I really fuckin' wish more developers had, especially ones as high up in the chain as they are.

As for the XBL Netflix and Hulu paywall: They shouldn't have such a thing in the first place but hopefully they fix that stupid mistake soon.
